My property is in a Rural area two miles off the pavement on rough, unmaintained desert road a hilly area with many deep ruts. the Gladiators suspension gets a work out every day., I mainly installed the Mopar lift kit for additional ground clearance needed. I was surprised how much better the ride is over stock I am happy with it.

I did a leveling kit, but I’m thinking of going ahead and doing the mopar 2”.

It’s good. Probably just as good as stock.

Beware the warriors who’ve never run one that will tell you it will need an extra $1,000 in parts… most of us aren’t running the rubicon every weekend. You should be just fine with an upgraded Mopar suspension and bigger tires to run all but the hardest of trails consistently before you start breaking things.

the 2.0 shocks that come in it ride much better than the stock rubicon fox shocks IMO

That’s what I’m really curious about….should I save some coin and buy a very gently used rubi suspension
Or just drop the big bucks and get the mopar
Will I readily see a difference in ride quality???

Liquor Attorney. So not all bad...
I have put just over 20K miles on my JTR 6MT - dealership installed the Mopar 2" as a warrantied dealer installed option along with my chosen wheels and 35s. Since then I have added an Ace Upper Decker, Rockhard 4x4 Sliders, ARB Bondi Deluxe and a SmittyBilt X20 Comp (synthetic rope, Gen 2 version).

I LOVE IT. Its my daily driver - about 35 highway miles each way. I've also driven it to South Dakota, Kansas, Iowa and northern Minnesota for trips. On saturday morning just after we received 20 inches of snow in SE Minnesota I drove from the twin cities to Rochester to meet a buyer at 8am. Tracked like a champ. When I really stomp on it in deep snow I do get some axle hopping though. And I installed Airlift 1000 bags to help with squatting when trailering.

The Mopar 2inch lift is GREAT, reasonably priced (my dealership charged about $1200 for the parts and $350 for the install).

First pics are new pick up and last ones are very recent

Purchased from Quadratec ($1600) and installed by a local Mom & Pops tire shop ($900)

I'm very satisfied with mine.

I paid about $1200 for it, not installed. It's important to know that many people get more than the advertised lift from it. In my case I needed an adjustable track bar since my front axle swung so much to the left/driver and lower adjustable control arms since the caster was way out of spec. Depending on your trim and vehicle loading it's not a complete kit and can require anywhere from a few hundred to $6-700 in add-ons to be a "complete" kit. Having said that once dialed in, I can easily ride 37s (with a wider offset wheel) and the ride is good. I would say it handles bumps and impacts better than stock but body roll and bounce are a little worse but that bounce got way better with weight in the bed.
