late to the reply party but the MOPAR lift is amazing value. retains your warranty and allows you to run 37s on the rubicon without any issues on and off road and can also support 38s with a fender chop. rides very well on the road and works off road as well when rock crawling.

The Mopar lift is pretty nice. I also installed a new track bar. My front axle shifted noticeably to the left. $1495 for the kit, $400 for the installation.

Adding the lift slightly shifted the front and rear axels to one side. Not a whole lot but enough to bother my OCD.
I was curious about this as well. Gupton service stated that they were not needed unless you have 38" tires or bigger.. he said 37" and down would not require them. They said they consulted a local 4x4 shop that did serious builds and he gave them this information. But I have heard of many on here needing them. I wonder if it makes a difference between the models ... rubicon vs. willys and such. Ultimately it probably boils down to the amount of lift, hopefully I will be good without, just not sure what to actually look for if I do need them... I did add the steering stabilizer.

Size of tires wouldn’t affect track bars. It’s height of lift that makes them necessary. The higher you lift the more your axle will shift to the side.

yeah that's what I was saying... it kinda buried in the middle of my paragraph..... but that was my thinking also, so I wasn't sure why they made that statement ???

I’ve had dealerships spout off stuff that they had no clue about before also. I’d say with the mopar lift it would be up to the user on adding a track bar. If you added a spacer along with the lift I’d probably add the track bar.

So far just the "stock" mopar lift (diesel version if it's any different) and I added the Mopar/Fox performance steering stabilizer to help out with the bigger tires. I take delivery next week, so I can take a look then if the axles shifted. I guess I'm looking for shift to one side or the other ? or do the axles always shift to one particular side ? How much do they shift ? I'm thinking I could measure the tires location in reference to the fender well and see if both side are even? Or is there a better more accurate way to measure ? Any idea what kind of track bars most have had good luck with ?

The axles will shift. The front will get pulled to the drivers side and the rear will get pulled to the passenger side. This is because of where the body mount point is for each track bar. It is on the drivers side for the front and lifting the body of the vehicle (via a suspension lift) will increase the angle of the trackbar thus shortening how far it's "pushes" the axle is to the passenger side.

The opposite for the rear.

It's not some crazy amount though. Many people do not install adjustable trackbars and Jeep is plenty happy warranting the lift and the stock suspension components without them.

Gupton is now charging $900+ for installation, I was told initially they were charging around $600 or so, but the techs got with the service managers and said it was taking more time to do the installation, so they upped the price.

So after coupons and some begging my total cost was $2291. ..... $1295. for the lift..... $836. for labor and alignment..... $160 for the Fox Performance Steering Stabilizer.
thats not a bad price with the alignment
here in nj they wank 2 to 3 k for installation plus 1600 for the lift kit

Do you know if you have to ask or get the warranty in writing, or is it automatically if installed by the dealer ?

Im guessing each vehicle might be slightly different, so is tgere a possibility my axles will not shift ?

What would be the best way to measure for this ?

Thanks for the great information !

I like the 2” lift…no spacers ,no track bar everything measures just fine…sits on 37” and rides great.
