Considering a 2 inch spacer lift vs the teraflex leveing kit. Was hoping to hear if there is any pros or cons on the AEV over Iron Rock (vice versa)? Also, are there there other parts that one should when consider going with a 2 inch lift like adjustable track bar?

Thanks in advance!

I went with the AEV lift after looking at several options including trying to mix and match. I’m not sure how absolutely necessary shock extensions and longer sway bar links are, but they sure seem like they would be.
Not sure how “necessary” the carrier bearing spacer is since nobody else adds that..
But, AEV gets a lot of credit for doing OEM collaboration so I think they know their stuff.
If you did the iron rock I would add some sway bar links and the autolynx.. and that still about adds up to the AEV lift, so it is probably a good value since you get more parts, even though it costs more than most spacer and leveling kits.

edit: they don’t even include bump stops with iron rock

Also,
Just go to one of our Mopar sponsors and buy the longer lower control arms. They aren’t required, but are nice to have and an improvement. Honestly one of the easiest $60 you can justify. Hell, two Mojave jeep fender logos shipped from the same site is almost $60.

Thank you! Looks great. Did you just go with the supplied parts or did you add anything? Also are those 35s?

This is the AEV on a Mojave w/35" tires. a Sport would not get quite as much height. I would highly reccommend the AEV kit seemed high quality and installed easily, I added front and rear track bar and front lower adjustable control arms, not sure any of that would be necessary although I like to be able to re-center after lifting.

A sport would get exactly the same height out of the kit.

A spacer kit is always going to give you the advertised height, regardless of model, unlike spring lifts whose actual height can vary from advertised.

Your Mojave would have more tire clearance than a sport because of the high line fender flares, but the amount of actual lift would be the same.

I have the IRO lift and love it. Im leery of poly spacers since I had a set deteriorate years ago.i have absolutely no complaints with the quality of the IRO kit and enjoy knowing it is as solid as can be. Ive got 35,000+ miles on the kit at this point.

i do wish the kit came with everything the AEV kit did since I ended up getting the longer sway bar links and MPP LCAs after the fact. I also got new bump stops but really only because i tow with the truck.

i can also add that I had an AEV lift before and was impressed with their product.

honestly i think you cant go wrong with either. It just depends on your budget, time, and availability of everything you want.

OK thanks. Sorry, I guess i was thinking that since the Mojave had taller springs and we were both to add 2" of spacer mine would still be taller.

Your correct in that your Mojave will be 1" taller in the end, as it comes with a 1" lift in the front (standard on Mojave). That being said, the amount of lift added by the spacer will always be the same.
