The brackets don't touch the back of the bed? That looks wrong...

If they are like the Hi-Lift branded versions, they are for the bed sides, not the front.
Ah well. That sucks as those slots are taken obviously and I do not think that was mentioned in the description. I may have to make something and glue it on - maybe a piece of wood just so it does not bounce. The brackets should hold it fine

Try the bracket behind the trail rail.

*Edit - If possible

You could just adjust the upper bend near the trail rails so the bracket doesn't hold the jack as far away from the rear wall. I'd just put it in a vice and give it some blows with a hammer or just bend it by hand. This will likely chip the paint/powder coat on the backet but will likely still look better than some additional wood or standoff between the bottom bracket flange and truck bed wall.

You could also make a spacer to go between the bracket and the bed.

Anybody know if those mounts will work with the MACS tie down rails?

Thanks! I’m waiting on the Quick Fist 8 piece variety pack but I may order another pair for the Hi Lift mount. It’s cool that they added that feature.
The mounts turned into a fun little Sunday project. I don’t think I’ll ever need the axe, but I figured why not for $45 all in? ?

For those who use the mount does it fit pretty tight to the bed? Is there much movement or rattle with the jack mounted? I have a Diamondback cover on order which mounts in the middle, foresee any issues with that?
