Has anyone added geo correction brackets with the 3.5" clayton lift? Mine with fox 2.0's is pretty harsh on broken pavement, and I'm getting some pretty healthy bump steer on big impacts. My thought process was lowering the frame side mounting points gets the arms closer to level, which should give me less front/back axle movement as the suspension cycles. This might also allow the shocks a chance to absorb some of the impact instead of transferring it into the frame..
The Fox shocks should be a relatively softer shock, and usually pairs extremely well with all of our kits. If you think you might be experiencing any issues with having certain components bound up or possible install issues, feel free to shoot us an email or PM with some photos and we would be happy to help out!

What have you done or engineered in to eliminate the dreaded front end bottom out issue with the JTRD’s? Have you created some type of modification / alteration to the embarrassing nubbin of a bump stop? …just spring & shock valving adjustment? …hydro stop?
We use a higher spring rate than most other manufacturers, and even when using our gas springs on the diesels they almost entirely eliminated any sort of bottoming out issues. The diesel specific springs should help to solve this issue even more :like:

The jeep is super light. Soft top, 6spd.. I got nearly 5.5" in the front, so my control arms are at a pretty steep angle.. It drives great on the highway, but small sharp bumps are painful.

You may just need to make some additional control arm and track bar adjustments if you think your vehicle got more than average lift out of the kit. Email some photos and information over to [email protected] and we'll be happy to make some recommendations!

Caster is at 6*, axles are centered.. Honestly it just feels like a TJ with 3" of lift. It wheels fine, slow speed articulation is great.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the desired caster (at least for the 2.5” lift) is between 4.8 and 5.5 degrees

per Claytons docs, yes, and with stock tires/stock height it isn't enough. Some guys are running as high as 7*. I have tried it all the way down to the 5ish* with no real change in the behavior of the suspension. It steers way worse down that low.

Hmm, if you're in spec with Clayton's recommendations for their 3.5" lift, I would like into tire pressure/load range etc. I noticed quite a difference in ride quality from load C and Load E range tires. Just my two cents anyway.

I am running Evo geo brackets with 3.5" front Cayton springs, 1" Teraflex spacers and Falcon 2.1 shocks set to firm in the front and soft for the back ones.. I have a diesel and it rides great, very smooth.

Anybody having issues with swaybar links loosening at frame? I have had to retorque my driver side 3 times already. Maybe a small spacer to take the little bit of slop out at the frame tab?

Anyone have an issue where it feels loose on the hiway? Mine feels almost like there’s no sway bar. 3 1/2” Ride right, steel steering box, fox shocks all around.

Maybe try a little Vibratite VC3 on the threads. I have not put any on mine but they have not loosened. Front or rear?

Have you had an alignment done?
