I've been on JKS for what seems like forever to get the diesel kit done. They have told me that the diesel kit they have for the wrangler works. But they have no one to test it In a Gladiator. I even offered mine if they would ship the kit to a local shop that is a dealer of theirs. No go. This is the longest thread I've seen about JKS on here. I want the 3.5 kit for a Sport S Ecodiesel. C'mon guys get it t together!

Mine should be done sometime tomorrow. JKS Venture 3-3.5”, fox 2.0 performance shocks, yeti traction bar, with 5.13 gears ⚙. I have 37x20 tires wheels. I’ll probably post some pictures next week.
Did you get yours put on? If so, how are you liking it so far? I am leaning towards JKS kit for my new lift as well. It's between the JKS and Rusty's 4" Advanced Kit

Trail Jeeps installed it awhile back. I think it’s great, rides like stock, maybe a bit better even with Nitto MT 37x20” tires. Got the Fox performance 2.0 shocks. It’s also sits level with no rake at least to my eye, love the stance. My steering has no slop now & wind from semi trucks passing doesn’t effect it anymore. It didn’t come with the Yeti traction bar like I thought, it was a Yeti XD JL/JT Track Bar and Sector Shaft Reinforcement Everything else is JKS, I feel I made the right decision, drives & rides great. Mine was the J-Venture 3-3.5" Suspension System setup which is more geared towards ride quality, but still off-road capable.

That's awesome! I just might end up pulling the trigger on it this weekend and get it on its way then. I am hearing good things for the JKS kit so far.

I’ve put up a few pics today under my Showcase gallery build for you to take a look of it lifted with the JKS J-Venture.

That's a real good looking JT for sure. I see you went with the SteerSmarts brace as well. How much of an improvement did that make.

Thank you,

This was the system Trail Jeeps put together. I’m not much of a mechanic which was why I had it done. They seem to really know what they are doing with Jeeps & off-roading. I forget why now but that Yeti brace seemed to be an important part of their system. I’m not sure what that particular item was for but overall steering is improved, wind doesn’t seem to affect it anymore or passing semi trucks on the highway. Before It would also take off on me all of a sudden when changing lanes at highway speeds, kind of unsafe & easy to over correct, it doesn’t do that anymore, could have been the stock AT tires not sure, but overall drivability is improved since installing the lift.

Here is a link to that brace it apparently improves steering, and addresses some technical bulletin. https://steersmarts.com/products/yeti-xd-jl-jt-sector-shaft-brace

Finally a reference I can understand! Pulling the trigger on this lift tomorrow! Looks great!!
Must not be a diesel. They still don't make a diesel lift kit yet.

For all that installed the JKS suspension. Does your Gladiator carry weight better? I was going to order the kit but they were out of the HD coils. I'm carrying a Shell, Roof top tent and the Decked system so I have a squat with my suspension. When I drive it feels like a boat in the back.
I have the JKS J-Venture 3-3.5" lift and I have an issue with it now that I added an RSI SmartCap that weighs 270 lbs. I have to replace the rear springs since there's an inch sag in the rear and it would eventually bottom out on the bump stops if not addressed. It was discovered when I took it to my Jeep shop to have some other mods done. I have it scheduled to be replaced with a RAM 1500 spring mod for a 3" lift that will handle the weight. They are also replacing the bump stops with 1800lb rated coil bump stops. I didn't have the lift done that long ago just a few months and now I'm having to replace the JKS springs that came with the lift so it can handle the stock load rating again. They had one other gladiator in their shop being worked on for the same issue.

Another Gladiator owner also had the same issue who responded when I mentioned this issue in the RSI thread. With theirs they were almost sitting on their bump stops with a roof top tent installed on their rack. They also had blown their shocks entirely so this isn't' an Isolated issue with lifts in general not just JKS, something to bring up to your Jeep shop when searching for a lift. The EVO springs aren't even enough to prevent this from happening.

I don't think so, this was what Trail Jeeps recommended & what I had them install.
I never heard of HD springs for this kit? Didn't even know that was an option.

could be a newer option? I'll try to get details tomorrow. I was very specific about weight concerns and I had heard something about HD IN SOME OTHER FORUMS...sorry about the caps... I'll try to get details and part #s on what I got and share back here. Did you get the Fox shocks? sorry you've had so much trouble!

I got the Fox 2.0 performance shocks as recommended shown in the list above.

I have the RAM 1500 springs and heavy duty bump stops on order, Hopefully it's the right move.
