Anyone running 37’s on stock Mojave wheels, no spacers?

I’ll eventually will with BFGoodrich KO2 AT 37x12.50R17. At 63 lbs, the C range are only 2 lbs heavier than the 33” Wildpeak MTs that came with the Mojave.
I believe they run small. Not quite 36" tall.

Sorry but I believe that to be incorrrect. The tire would be more likely to pop off narrow rim.

My stock rim will hold my 12.5” tire better than an8”+ rim.

You clearly have not done this yourself and are regurgitating what you’ve read.

I have few thousand off-road miles, aired down and several hundred thousand miles of on-road, first hand experience.

There are tens of thousands just like me.

Find me more than one instance of losing a bead off-road due to a 12.5” tire mounted on a 7.5” rim or equivalent.

Don't really know if I have those kind of miles, but have on 2 occasions seen beads pop of rims specifically 8 inc rims with 13.5 inch tires when aired down to low.
our poor mans beadlock is entirely different than what you are quoting and when googling that there is no mention of it. I will say that clearly you are far more experienced and knowledgeable than i so you win.

There definitely is a point where a tire is too wide. A 13.5 is too wide for a stock rim, IMO, but I don’t have direct experience with this.

No. The more narrow a factory rim the better when airing down. It’s been called a poor man’s beadlock for many years. There is a limit to how low you can run a tire VS a true beadlock. I have run them down to 10 psi for 30 years on a 7.5” wheel. I have never seen one come off unless they are beyond that.

Obviously a beadlock wheel will be the best way to go but there is nothing wrong with running a 7.5” wheel on a 12.5” tire.

Until they are under load, then they'll barely be over 35 inches.
No tire measures its advertised size under load. If they did, it would be like riding on wagon wheels. Your teeth would fall out. The height under load is also going to vary based on tire pressure and the weight of you Jeep.

Hell, most tires don't even measure the advertised size with no load.
You need to check the "actual size" from the manufacturer.

Yep. KO2’s are notoriously small before you mount them.
