Hey guys, a buddy and I go out to Anza Borrego in So-Cal to go experience this awesome trail. I was able to put the drone up a few times and get some footage of the breathtaking sights that it has to offer. Check our the video and let me know if you have any suggestions about what I can do better, or something else to go check out in So-Cal. Thanks for watching.

Great video! Maybe needs a little more editing to break things up. When you fly up and pan around, try to show the horizon to give perspective. Not criticism, just suggestions. JT’s look good. Bring a white one along too next time LOL.
Me and my buddy joke around about needing a white gladiator all the time lol. And that’s a great suggestion, I was thinking the same thing. Thank you for the feedback!

I have a white JTRD on TALL 37s and a Skydio 2! Great shots through the canyons- definitely appreciate the obstacle avoidance of Skydio 2. Are you using the beacon or phone only for motion tracking? I am trying to figure out best angle to capture rock crawling with motion tracking, but feel that minimum height may have to be disabled. I’ve found that front tracking is best for higher speeds, but rear/sides captures groups better.

Nice - you brought back many fond memories. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a SoCal transplant. I lived in LA, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties for ~55 years and the deserts were my home.

Very jealous of where you west coasters can off-road.

Please list mods on each vehicle. Give us all something to dream or pattern a build after!
Your rigs look good!

Sweet! we should get together one of these days and go wheeling! I'm using the beacon, and the phone together. The beacon is pretty hit and miss for me unfortunately but when it does work its pretty amazing. Thanks for checking out the video!

Also- what upgrades to axles/gearing have you done, and what brand/width of 38s???
As far as axles go, nothing lol. Im using 38/13.5/17 patagonias, my buddy is using 38/12.5/17 ridge grapplers. My tires are slightly taller than his in the real world though

Thanks for watching, Joe! The greatest thing about the so cal dessert is that it doesn't change too much over time. Love it here. now if only the cost of living wasn't so damn high
