Here’s a new question for the brainiacs! TPMS issue

I took the Gladiator to get the tires rotated yesterday (Wednesday), didn’t get 5 miles away and the TPMS starts making its noise. Says service is needed. Both drivers side and passenger front look good, passenger side rear has two dash marks and red. Drove back to the tire dealer they were going to check it with their scanner, two guys start checking. They come back and tell me it’s not picking up either tire. I’m thinking scanner is bad, but before they dig into it i figured I’d ask here. I do have a Tazer installed, but have never heard of it causing this kind of issue. So what do the gurus say whats my problem?

Well I thought something along that line so I drove home which is another 10 miles or so also start stop a couple times. Then this morning drove 30 or so miles with a few more start stop. And at this time another 30 to 40 miles and it’s still doing it!

Tire sensors are extremely sensitive. I’ve had several instances where one or two sensors will just stop communicating with the vehicle (2 dashed lines where psi indicator would be). Sometimes it clears itself up after a power cycle, sometimes it takes a full day or two to reset and start reading again. If it’s a persistent issue (after a few days it still hasn’t reconnected) then it might be an issue with that sensor and it needs to be replaced.

I found if you fill the tires not reading to approximately 50 psi and drive that they will begin to read and then drop back down
