Just placed my order today and thought I would share there must be another change or parts shortage. LED package is not available on the Sport S. Last week when I had them run a build quote it was.... Oh well....aftermarket lights will be the first mod I suppose.

Check this one for headlights. It's called 'switchback' and the round ring turns to yellow when you apply turn signal.
As soon as I found this one, I removed the LED package from my options.

And this is turn signal. It's black bezel lights(they call it 'Polycarbonate Smoked Lenses')
It looks so cool.

Lights are personal preferences but these are coolest for me so far. Just wanted to share

yes! Thanks for the links. I was already looking at Oracle. It looks plug and play. Best part is with my order I will have DRL..even with halogens. So might be able to use that for the rings. Will just have to see when it gets in and explore the wiring harness a bit though. But I like the heated Oracle's better than factory anyway being in a icy northern environment.

Ordered my 22 GOBI!!! Dealership said they are doing a limited run of 500 vehicles this round so if you want it you better jump on it now. They may do another run of the color if their is support. But personally I like the idea of having a very limited edition color.

"Dealer said" LOL I don't see how they would even have that kind of information. And guarantee if dealers had info like that, we would here as well.

I'm sure Gobi will be pretty limited just the same. It's already 3 months into 2022 MY production and this is only the first of three limited colors they are running. I would imagine Gobi will be open to order for another 2 months or so.

They are doing a flat 5% below invoice for factory orders, and then 1% off that for Treat Lightly and another 1% off that if they do the financing. If you do both TL and financing it winds up being about 6.8% off invoice.
Compare that to MSRP (which most dealers are firm on), and you're looking at significant savings.

Exactly! I had a "Dealer said" just 2 weeks ago that the factory was shutdown and no '22's were being shipped... I just laughed... They just dream stuff up to fit their needs.

its an organization that promotes off-roading with an emphasis on not damaging the areas you wheel.
They work to keep public land open to the 4x4 world and it is our responsibility as rock crawlers, overlanders etc to make sure the outdoor areas we visit are in the same condition they were in after we are done visiting as the day we arrived
Otherwise the environmental hippies will win the battle and close everything to all vehicles

No idea how he got the info but I hope he is correct cause that would mean I got a very limited color but either way I am just happy I finally got the color I wanted

Correct, but I believe proximity and 8.4 u-connect are now standard so I suppose it's a wash if you were planning to get those anyways. In my opinion the LED lighting should also come standard on anything other than the sport.

LED should come standard on all trims… halogen should’ve been gone a long time ago, especially at this price point.

My guess is that “500 Gobi’s” came from someone reading the ‘limited edition’ descriptor, saying something like ‘that probably means there will only be 500 made’ and someone else turning that into a ‘fact’ they repeat. Wrangler and Gladiator are high volume vehicles. If there was a 500-unit limited edition it would be advertised and marked up accordingly, and they wouldn’t take random customer orders of which they have no real way to control the numbers of.

Also if your dealer tells you something isn’t orderable that others have been able to order, your dealer is incompetent. If instead you believe it isn’t orderable because it’s not listed on the online build guide, then that’s user error - the online build guide is absolutely NOT a real-time look at what is orderable, it’s a marketing tool to move inventory off dealer lots.
