Hey guys
saw someone on here purchased a 2in Mopar lift
at Flemington jeep here in NJ for 2100 installed with Mopar coupons

I called to do the exact same job
and they are charging me 1k more
the excuse is my gladdy and his are different
I have a sport with max tow
and I believe he has a Rubicon
and so the part numbers are different

can this be accurate ?

From my understanding mopar 2in lift is different for gas vs diesel but that’s all. Ask the dealer the rubicon mopar 2in part number vs the part they installing on your JT

I just had the Mopar 2" lift put on my Max Tow, gas, was 2214 total for lift kit, labor, alig mentioned and had them reprogram for 35 inch tires. That was using the 15% off coupon.

Absolutely nothing different about the install from the Rubicon to the Max Tow that should drive the labor price up. Dealers are all over the place and rarely consistent on anything. Count how many service writers they have there and you'll get that many different prices if you ask all of them for a quote on something like this. I'd find a different dealer, or a reputable offroad shop.

I paid 2200 for the Mopar Diesel lift in WA. I had to call around for quotes. The most expensive was around 3500 installed for the Mopar lift. The dealer that installed mine did say going forward
they will be charging 2500.

@lowso - Hey! I'm in Flemington too. I just bought my 2022 JTSD a few months ago. I bought from Chapman over in Horsham PA. We test drove at Flemington in the fall, and they had almost no inventory. When I asked if they could match Chapman's pricing, they looked at me like I was crazy.
I can tell you I haven't found a local dealer with reasonable pricing on the lift yet. Chapman wanted nearly $3,000 for the lift and install. I ended up buying my lift from BAM for $1,300 or so, and then paying Mad Cow Customs up in Pompton Lakes to put it on. Pricing was reasonable and roughly around what you expected to pay - and that's on a Diesel.

Yes - I know the warranty is only valid if dealer installed, but honestly, I don't expect this to be the cause of any issues down the line and Mad Cow did a great job. I'm running the mopar lift, and a leveling spacer with 37" BFG's. Drives fantastic.

The other option would be to just take a few hours and do it yourself, it’s very easy. Especially the Mopar one, it’s not even a full lift kit, meaning not all 4 control arms or track bars, so it should take no more than a few hours. Save the money and buy more parts! ?

BAM Wholesale... aside from Rock Auto they're pretty much the de facto source of online parts. Excellent pricing but shipping will get you on a lot of stuff so you might want to look and see if there's a local dealer doing a similar online store thing.

What @LostWoods said re. BAM. I’ve found them to have the best prices on Mopar stuff.

Re the spacer - I wanted it to sit more level and take some of the factory rake out of the truck. It seems to vary, but in general trucks sit slightly higher in the back so that the sit more level when fully loaded in the bed or towing. I don’t plant on towing anything that heavy so I wanted it to sit more level for looks. I just did a .75” spacer.

Careful with Bam wholesale, you will wait 3 months because they always send incomplete orders and then it takes a while for them to respond and correct . I keep ordering due to price…but I have more time than money lol
