Hey!

So I have a jeep that did not come with the Aux Package and so I do not have the two extra wires for bat+ and ACC. I was looking at the possibility of just putting a fuse in and pinning the fuse box so I could at least get the ACC power fuse working so I didn't have to used a fuse tap. I tried just placing a fuse in but noticed that there is no holder in those positions. It does have what looks like a circular connector and shooting for power verifies that it does get power. Wondering if anyone knows if they just slide the correct connector in there at the factory or if the fuse box has to be opened up somehow.

Couldn't you stick a fuse tap in that slot and get power that way? Then you wouldn't be sharing power from another circuit (if that is your concern).

It doesn't actually have the socket in there for the fuse. It has a pin way in there that if you were to meter it, does get power. One of these days if I can get my hands on another fuse box I might take it apart and look at it. For now I've just tapped into some other fuses. Its more of me trying to get a clean look/

I would think you could get that socket from some vender somewhere. Maybe even MOPAR. But you (to do it 'right', or clean) would probably need to make sure you run the fuse output wire through the factory plastic connector on the bottom of the distribution panel. Look up the Genesis dual battery tray install to see the connectors I'm taking about.

I dont think this would be difficult, and would certainly make for a SUPER clean instal..

That's exactly the idea.
