I was standing next to an AEV Brute at Expo West a few days ago and the JT definitely looks shorter overall. The Brute has a lot of metal behind the rear door and the CAD and spy shots suggest that area is slimmed down and the bed/rear flare area is tighter to the cab on the JT especially with the cab/flare overlap. At least appearance wise the JT looks smaller than the Brute if I was to guess.

Local car guy, Rich Clark, got this shot. Spotted in Genesee, CO... just outside of Denver.

that tub and overhang can not possibly be right based on Jeeps "off-road" heritage. That would survive zero track time over here

Nothing new here in the article, but there are a ton of new spy shots below the article. Look at pic 52/73, what is that rubber tubing that loops back on itself, the yellow tag on it is labeled "Vent". So I get that its a vent but what is it doing, what are they testing?

Also I really like the all black rims, I think we have seen them before but I hope these will be offered as OEM.

Good find.

Something things I noticed from these photos:

1) Its running a JL front end for sure. You can see the LED fender lights, and the front fenders look larger then the JK ones. Also one of these trucks has no trash bags on the hood, Just a black sticker covering the bulge in the hood.

2) It looks like it has the flip down windshield, however I don't see the grab handles like the JL has ?!?!?!

3) This is the first time I have noticed it, but looks like the trash bags are missing from the rear of the roof on one of these mules. Give you a better look at the top and still looks like a 1pc rear window. I personally am still thinking the possibility of it sliding down.

The hard top is defiantly uncovered. It looks as though there is a seem between the top and rear panel where on the wranglers (JL, JK, YJ) it is hinged to swing up and open. I am looking at the pictures with the pink numbers written on the top. (54137).

I don't see any indents for hinge hardware though. This is a good shot of the rear of the top:

Sorry, I reread my post and I mistyped. I meant to say the seem is where the hinges would normally be. Basically this photo shows the top and rear will be separate pieces.

Oh yea I see that too, but Im not sure it works that way. Before the JL came out I thought for sure the side windows would be removable on the hard top as it has similar lines around them, but they are just molded into the top. I think they do it so its not entirely flat from a design perspective or it might help channel water.
