The rear sway bar looks like the next most vulnerable area for damage. Has anyone made changes or upgrades? I found this: https://www.rockjock4x4.com/RJ-256200-101 , but I do not know if it would work to get it up higher and away from damage. Here is a picture of how mine is now.

Is that stock? Wow. I've never noticed that.

It looks like you could shorten the links and just rotate the bar up. Using the same bar.

Either way, if you replace it, be sure to get something with similar stiffness. You don't want to go messing with handling balance unless you understand what you are doing. More roll stiffness means more oversteer which is dangerous in an emergency accident avoidance maneuver. And the truck will feel fine right up until the rear end breaks loose and comes around.

yep..I just had a link tear out of my frame so I pulled the trigger for the anti rock. Simple install only caveat is that I have a 2.5 inch lift and they send the kit with links for a 4+ inch lift so if you are going to order and you have a short lift then let them know when you place your order..they are sending me out the correct ones. solid quality product

I have seen a couple videos where the like broke out of the frame. My lift can go from about 3-6 but we have it set for around 3 right now which is where I want to keep it. Could be why the arms are so long. Do you have any other pictures of your install? Did you notice any difference in the ride or did it all seem good?

The bar is stock but not the arms. The truck has been lifted.

I just have the upper and lower mounts at the frame and axle on along with the torsion bar mounted and just a trial fit for the links as I knew they were going to be too long so no full install pics yet..
you can see my frame mount torn right under the arm..no clue on why my photos always turn on this site :(

That don’t look right. Get some adjustable links and bring it up. I have Icon lift on my truck. It came with the down links. You can adjustable down links by themselves.

IMO, anything that gets rid of the factory frame brackets has to be an improvement. I like the ideal of the bar sitting up high above the frame and arms coming down to axle brackets.

Your end links are way too long or your truck is overloaded for the springs. For normal ride height, the sway bar end should be parallel to the street. Here is a pic of what they should look like at normal ride height. Also, notice how much space I have between my yellow bump stop. At least 3 to 3.5 inches or so... It could be that your springs are too soft for the load in the bed.

If you 4 wheel like that, you may slide off a rock, hit those end links, and bend up the end link tab at the frame, or bend the end link. This sometimes happens even when the end link is in the proper orientation. Here is a picture of an End Link I bent at the Holcomb Creek badge of honor trail. I also bent my frame mounting tab up, but, it was easy to straighten .

Is it ok to say your truck has a nice a$$?
Or is that sexist or something?

I have the anti rock and can vouch for it… but yowza that price tag. Teraflex makes a similar product that is about half the price and comes in all the Gladiator lift systems now. Problem is they are not readily available due to the shortages. I ran with no sway bar in the rear at all for around two months. It was an interesting exercise. Had installed TFs long travel kit so had the ability to flex much more than stock out back. Driving around town it had a little effect cornering. I think the Fox 2.0s may have been compensating.

Teraflex sells a long-travel kit that relocates the bar i believe. No hang down at all if i recall correctly

Yes the links are to long right now. My suspension can be lifted up and we have it set at about 3". We can crank it up to about 6" so that is where the extra length is. I have the room under the bump stop, its just the angle of the photo. There is a new bracket that is actually behind the stop, but in the photo it looks like it is under it. I need to shorten the link as I do not intend to raise it any higher, but am seriously thinking about relocating it all together.
