Warning, bad gas mileage with Borla s- type exhaust

Ha ha ha, gotcha. I’m saying this because the exhaust sounds so amazing, you tend to hit the gas harder than you normally would. When I first got this exhaust, I wasn’t sure if I really liked it. Then the ceramic was peeling off. Well I finally got a hold of Borla, they said I had the old style tips they had an issue with the ceramic and that has been fixed. They send me the new tips, which was great. Now the exhaust is settled in, and I must say I love it. Any friends that I’ve driven with me say how amazing it sounds. At highway speeds you don’t hear it, no drone, but when you accelerate it is amazing, it’s expensive, but I highly recommend. Happy memorial day and cheers to all of our veterans.

Hard to tell, it sounds like it’s going fast but then you look at the speedometer and it’s not. I really did it just for the sound

One of the mods I have checkmarked for the new Gobi is a ATAK exhaust from them. It’s going to sound awesome paired with a 6 speed.

I have the Borla ATAK dual side exit and it sounds good. It was on my Rubicon when I bought it used a year ago. It used to hang down to low so I removed the bed sliders and I think it looks better.

The Pentastar has the ability to sound pretty decent for a V6, anybody who has driven a rental spec Challenger can confirm that. After listening to the Borla website sound clips I just added another item to the “stuff to buy” list.

I installed the Borla S-Type a couple of months ago, and I LOVE it. You are correct @Jeepbreath, keeping your foot out of the go pedal is a real challenge with this exhaust!! My grown son rode in the Gladiator for the first time since I installed it, and he said "There is no way this thing should sound this good!"

I love the borla exhaust on my Mojave. I did have the powder coating chipping on my original tips and Borla sent me another pair however now the new one they sent me started peeling as well. It’s only 3 months old! Going to call them again.

That sucks, they accidentally sent me two sets of tips. So if it happens to the ones on there now, I will swap them. They told me that the ones that they sent me are the newly upgraded tips
