Is your windshield muddy or covered with snow or bug guts or bird crap?
It will do a self-test and light that light when first starting, but it should otherwise go out unless there's an issue. (or if you have pressed a button to turn it off)

I don't have it on my JT. But my old car used the same symbol, and it did. There should be button somewhere that looks like the symbol.

You can enable or disable the Forward Collision Warning feature when you select Settings on your Uconnect touchscreen, then select Safety & Driving Assistance. Under Forward Collision Warning, you will be able to choose from three settings: Off Deactivates the Forward Collision Warning system

Sounds like you may have gotten an over the air update.
Let it go for 24-48 hours and then see if everything is good again. If after that it's still lit and not in your menu, You're off to see the wizard, the terrible wizard at JEEP.
