I'm boring and prefer function over flair. I like true hub-centric and OEM specs so I bought a set of Mopar five spoke 17x8.5. Wide enough for my 35's and future 37's if I go that route. Got these new for $765 OTD.

Mind sharing where you got a set for that price?

I went with the Tactik T-741 in black/grey. They were on sale at Quadratec for $99/ea and appeared to be the exact same wheel as the Ion Alloy which sells for $200. Pics later...
I just ordered those in black, set of 5 to rotate in my spare (37s Patagonia). it was that or running spacers on the stock wheels. I just can't see spending a lot on wheels that are most likely going to be scratched up after a few wheeling trips.

I like the Borah wheel in satin black with protection ring, but I don't want to drop that amount of money just yet.

Thanks for the Pics, I am leaning towards those wheels on a Gator with 35 inch Duratrac Tires with a 2.5 inch Rough Country Lift.
Been running the tires and lift on my last two JKUs and have had really good luck with them.

My brother has had these nittos on his truck for 40k miles and counting. I was a big BFG AT guy but after seeing how his ridge grapplers have done I’m ready to try them for myself. Can’t go wrong w duratrac either though

Great to see someone making old school looking rims in alloy instead of steel. Forever it seemed all you could find in alloys was aggressive spoke designs.

I'd love to see them in a slightly lighter (grayer) paint to better show the classic details but even as-is, those rims, lift and tires are so well proportioned and they really suit your rig.

Nicely done!

Glad you could see my vision.. going for an updated willys truck look.

I’m sure once I can get them dirty more of the detail will show

Love the classic narrow and tall "pizza cutter" concept but when it comes to snow they depend on cutting through deep snow to make contact with pavement in order to get traction. By the time they do that, your differential housing and suspension components are already making contact, plowing snow and getting hung up.
