Anyone looked at Dick Cepek trail country exp? Looking at a set of 295/70/17, ok on 7.5" factory wheels. Know not the biggest size but scared to go any bigger and still clear garage door. Set of 4, mounted, balanced, 7% sales tax and all fees. Right at $990. Just under 1k! Can't touch any other name brand in comparable sizes for under $1300 and the reviews are good (if you can believe anything online)

Sorry we don't carry Venom tires so we don't have test data to compare them against one another.
You guys are seriously missing the boat with Kenda, I understand adopting a brand for a single model is not a good business choice, but the KR601 is a fantastic tire that would benefit greatly from a partnership with a major retail distribution chain.

I run the Yokohama Geolandar XAT's which get marketed as a cross between MT and AT, and have been very happy with them so far. Quiet on the road, pretty good in the snow, and pretty good offroad. Will see how they wear and perform down the line.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will pass this along to the proper tire buyer personnel.

If you go with the 37 13.50 wide Pats vs. 12.50 ..... what width in rim would be appropriate? Any reason to go with 18's vs 17's? Not doing any serious rock climbing.

I second this. They'll most likely be the next tires on my Gladiator. Almost all of my other tires have come from Discount. Hopefully these will too.

I have been looking at those also. But they look like they might be noisy. The nittos reviews mentioned chunking on gravel roads several times. Also looking at the at3 but to run 37s. I need an 18 inch rim.
Had both. Toyo RTs on my jk and jl. Love the tire looks great and super quiet and durable. Only complaint was in wet conditions They were all over the place and I had very little confidence. Went with ridge grapplers on the jt and while very quiet and much better in the rain I kind of regret not going with the toyo they run truer to size and just look so much cooler.
