So Personally, if money was no issue to me, I’d replace my XMTs with 37” KM3s in a heartbeat. Take that with a grain of salt because I’ve never ran them but I had 37” KM2s that I absolutely loved. I only bought the XMTs because they stopped making the KM2s and the tread pattern is similar.

I’ve put Rockhard 4x4 rock sliders on my last 4 Jeeps. They have not let me down yet. Their JT offering is very nice ?? and of course, made in the ??
Their driving characteristics are great for such an aggressive tire. Mine were quiet when they began their life on my JKHR but after 22k total, they are loud AF. Think B-52 Bomber…
I honestly thought the Willy’s suspension was too soft. It got better swapping Fox 2.0s for the red shocks but I do have extra weight.
Does a chalk test support 35psi? Maybe you can squeak out a couple less and see how it feels.
There are a lot of variables to consider and there’s no one size fits all. I buy shocks by compressed and extended lengths not by lift height. If you’re willing to tinker, you can maximize travel. If not, just go with something equivalent to what the company pairs with the lift you installed...
Internally threaded. Wouldn’t necessarily blame the installer. My passenger side has come loose 4 or 5 times. Next time it’s getting some loctite treatment.
If you’re not planning on regearing, I’d just do the front for now. This is the second Willys that I’ve had and the from locker/rear LSD combo has worked plenty fine for me on both.
For this goal - “I'm interested in extending my fenders as to stop all of the mud, snow, rocks, dirt, dust, etc. from being flung back onto my Jeep”
I think mud flaps are the starting point. I could cut a kiddie swimming pool along the wall and tape it to the side like they did on the Bronco...
Do you currently have mud flaps? I’ll say that mine still flings crap all over the place with additional coverage. A lot of it comes from under the fender line. For context, 12.5” tire on 9” wide with with 4.75” BS.
Figured out why there has been a clunk and a sway to it. Figured the sway was from putting crappy stock tires on and the clunk was… because it’s a jeep. Guess not.
Def update with how they work. I installed the EVO lines in the rear a couple weeks ago and they sit closer to the tire than I’d like w/ a 4.75” BS wheel. When I switch to my steelies for winter, I’m thinking they’ll rub as well.
About 20 years ago, I was peacefully minding my own business on a two lane highway. I was driving ~60 in a 55mph in the passing lane. As I was passing a car, they aggressively cut into my lane and were going to clip the front half of my YJ. I instinctively swerved so they didn’t hit me.
