  1. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Im curious though, if the TSB work improves the vehicle and is free, why is your recommendation to wait years to have it performed? Am I missing something?
  2. What gas milage are you getting?

    37”, 2.5” lift: 16-17MPG at 8800 miles
  3. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Then I suppose they should have designed the steering system better. Whatever they saved going with an aluminum box over iron is being spent now.
  4. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

I am going next Friday for my first visit to a dealer about this. I spoke to the parts guy today and asked if he could pre-order the parts. He’s going to try , but indicated that they have to wait 14 days between part requests. I’m really quite perplexed about this whole thing. 1. Jeep...
  5. Water leak above passenger door

Same thing just happened to me. The Jeep was sitting in an outdoor parking lot all day. I had to pull the floor plug as there was so much water. I’ve seen drips before on the door handle, but assumed it was from opening the door and the usual stream of water pours on me. I have an appointment...
  6. Feedback/experience on 4.10s with 37s

Same sentiments, but with 6500lbs. Does it get the job done? Sure. Could it be better with 4.88s? I’m certain of it.
  7. Towing an Airstream and sway issues with anti sway hitch

I tow exactly twice a year, from storage to the campground and then back to storage at the end of the season. It’s an hour trip each way and I hit speeds of 65-70. Having a well adjusted WDH is key, IMHO. I am seriously considering 4.88 gears as any hill at all drops the transmission to a low...
  8. Towing an Airstream and sway issues with anti sway hitch

I just towed my double axle, 33’ Forest River travel trailer to storage this morning with my JT Rubicon. I have 37” tires and a 2.5” lift. The trailer weighs 6400lbs dry and I’m sure it’s nearing 6700lbs with all of the stuff we have in it. I have an Equalizer hitch and a RedArc brake...
  9. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Is there another dealership nearby? If so, pick up your vehicle and leave the first one a terrible review. I’m angry for you at how FCA is handling this; letting their dealers completely ruin the Jeep brand. They allow this behavior.
  10. JT Gladiator Factory Production Assembly Line Video

    Very interesting. Thanks for posting!
  11. Converting to stubby steel front bumper on JT?

They’re Baja Designs LP6 Driving lights in amber. I got them from River City Off-road, who happens to have them on sale ending tomorrow.
  12. Will 2017 75th Anniversary Eagle edition bumper fit the JT?

Are there more differences from the factory steel winch bumper than the color?
  13. Converting to stubby steel front bumper on JT?

There are maybe 4-5 bolts per wing. I can’t remember if they are 45 or 47mm Torx, but it’s one of those. It’s quite a simple job. The wings were heavier than I thought, but not very heavy at the same time.
  14. Converting to stubby steel front bumper on JT?

I love this factory bumper. I took off the wings and used an existing pair of bolts to mount my lights. Thumbs up to FCA on the design. I’ve had LoD and AEV aftermarket bumpers before, but the one complaint I have with those is that the rust resistance is never on the level of OEM.
  15. Offset and Backspacing to not have wheels/tires stick outside of fenders.

My AEV Savegre IIs don’t stick out. I like the tires nice and tucked under the flares. 17x8.5 with 5.77in backspacing (+25mm offset)
  16. Kanati Trail Hogs, Patagonia MT, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers

This happens in NJ too :). I noticed 3-4psi increases during the hottest days of July.
  17. 4 or 5 wheel purchase

I guess this also comes down to whether you are a 4 or 5 tire rotation kind of person. Usually what I do is when the four tires are worn, I buy three more of the same, bring in the spare, and take the best of the old tires and use as a spare.
  18. 4 or 5 wheel purchase

I bought five wheels and tires. They all have TPMS too.
  19. How many 37" tires can you fit in the bed?

I don't think you'll have an issue; ratchet straps are your friend.
