I’m in Ontario and get the winter performance needs. The numbers you posted above, are you sure that is tread width and not section width?
More siping is going to be better on wet and snowy conditions.
As for mpg that’s up to the was you drive. I see 13.5 litres per 100k on the highway...
Some food for thought... What is the actual tread width difference on these tires? Don't get too hung up on this, just get the tires you want that will perform the way you need. Those tires are very light whichever way you go!
I had issues with a Tacoma that only presented when cold, dealer could never replicate it so I left it at the dealership overnight without discussing it with them, then got a ride there in the morning and took the service manager for a drive to demonstrate the problem.
Just do the tires you want! I ran 285/75r17 ( 34x11.5’ish ) with 3.73’s on my 2020 Overland. I had no complaints. I imagine you’re aware that most 35’s measure in closer to 34.5. They were Heavy AT3W’s. Your Jeep isn’t a race car so go for it! As for re-gearing it simply isn’t worth it or...
Ah yes, I believe it was you who I had some back and forth with in another thread a while back as I was considering this route for my Mojave. My plan was to get the Flex link and Rock Krawler was willing to sell me one adjustable linke to match the other side. I have an older set of JKS...
Last I spoke with JKS they still sold the Flex link, then one would buy the passenger link separately, I was unimpressed with our chat and told them so, they didn’t care at all!
Certainly possible things have changed since then!
Similar idea to the JKS Flex Connect but potentially better. More adjustable to preference and no need to remove and disassemble to change springs. Also no need to source random parts to make them mount without cutting the passenger tab.
The sliders don’t line up very nicely with the fenders. It appears the sliders do provide protect all the way to the frame, lots of metal. Body mounted. The cross border experience might be simple or it might be a mess. I’m in Canada and bring things from the US on occasion but I try to...
Your dealership service ppl are lazy retarded morons. Tell them to toss a set of other wheels and tires on to prove that to you. If by some black magic hocus pocus they're right then your tires should be replaced under warranty..
Everything seems to be ok today after driving about 15 miles, no new leaks. The O ring is in the correct position, so was the one that managed to crack in half, not sure why that happened but glad things seem ok now.
Thanks for the tips everyone!
Thanks for the tips guys! I never would have started there!
I've been doing oil changes on my Jeeps for several years and try not to over tighten the oil filter due to the plastic housing, but I certainly did go get a light in there and have a look. No cracking that I could see but guess what...
