Just do the tires you want! I ran 285/75r17 ( 34x11.5’ish ) with 3.73’s on my 2020 Overland. I had no complaints. I imagine you’re aware that most 35’s measure in closer to 34.5. They were Heavy AT3W’s. Your Jeep isn’t a race car so go for it! As for re-gearing it simply isn’t worth it or necessary for your use.
I run 37’s on 4.10’s, half if the internet says I will die for doing so an am an idiot, turns out they work just fine!
