Hi,
Looking for thoughts on my suddently very wet transmission. Did the 1st oil change a couple of days ago, used the appropriate 5 quarts, checked level and all good. Today after driving for about 10 minutes I got home and smelled burning, thought that's odd that I didn't smell that just...
I even painted my tow hooks black on the rear bumper after removing the hood decals, front hooks went away with the bumper… mystery Jeep to many apparently 😆
If you aren't even sure what model you're looking at I suggest you learn a bit more abouy Jeeps before pulling the trigger!
Share the details here and you'll the pass or trash suggestions from a bunch of us yahoos! Great way to learn and make a more informed decision for yourself.
I have done plenty of 'cheap' lift setups on vehicles in the past, none of them were great and always required a 2nd or 3rd upgrade.. Do it as close to right as possible the 1st time! Don't waste money or Rubi take offs, if you want factory take offs the Mojave shocks are worth it, but will...
You can do a coil spacer lift, any spacers will do just fine. Add Mopar lift kit lower control arms. Then you will need to spend more than $600 to get nice shocks to improve the ride and handling.
Here is pricing up here in Canada, where we all have less of everything because shit here is right fucked these days. I don't remember what mine cost over a decade ago but I recall feeling the price was really reasonable.
** I was still thinking SSR's, here is a link to the IROC ND's up...
THere you have it! Interco Swamper SSR's!! Great driving and decent wearing. I loved mine but the pricing went bonkers in Canada like every other thing up in this shit factory.
When I ran MT's the Toyo's were my favourite. I think if you go with any of the higher end well known tires you will be doing alright. Tire prefence is like paint colour preference, we all like what we like. I won't knock the Mickey's that everybody loves becase at one time I ran the Cooper...
I experienced the same thing, E rated Falken 35 to D rated Cooper AT3 XLT 37 that weight about the same or slightly less. I can't rip corners nearly as hard now, but that's probably a good thing.
Edit to mention that I am also running lower PSI in these which I expect is another factor in the...
I can't offer any help on this but chances are good that once they sort this out you'll be problem free for a long time! So many new vehicles have an initial issue.
On my last Mojave I ran 35 inch Falken AT3W's, I noticed a slight difference over the stock 33's but very quickly forgot there was ever a slight change. On my new Mojave that is configured nearly identically I am running 37 inch Cooper AT XLT's in 37's. I believe the Coopers weigh 1 or 2...
I had a 2009 Tacoma Regular cab 4x4 with an Old Man Emu suspension. I'm pretty much a giant at a whopping 5 foot 8 inches tall haha so it fit me well. I did find myself feeling annoyed about not being able to keep much at all in the cab. It was pretty utilitarian with it's only comfort option...
I am a little suprised you didn't go AT4X to get the incredibly wonderful MultiMatic DSSV suspension! I could see myself in another ZR2 in the future. Enjoy that smooooth ride, torque and power sunroof :)
