I’m still running the original batteries on a 11/2019 build JT… always on a maintainer when it sits more than a couple days. But am getting intermittent start/stop failures that reset with engine restart. So just a matter of time and I will be replacing both. Pushing 6 years on the OEM...

the EcoHitch is a little more complicated to install than the typical aftermarket hitch, but it retains a whole lot more ground clearance.

where are the 3D printers to create the replacement tailgate handle with the built in camera mount? Looks like it belongs in that location. This front mount needs a target painted on it…. Looks pretty exposed there!

toyota has it figured out - power rear window in the Tundra, and power slider in the Tacoma. Either one would have been acceptable for the JT!

From the outside looking in, it does take up more room. But from the drivers seat, when retracted it is as unnoticeable as the rear portion of the hardtop. That may be subjective for those in the ‘mighty tall’ strata. their are always trade offs - this gives you the sunshade when you need...
