Those BFG's are almost bullet proof. Thaey are about the only tire out there with a true 3 ply sidewall. It's the only brand I run. I have 35 12.50 17's in KM3 MT's.
Aluminum as such will not readily accept and retain paint unless it is treated with a chemical like alodine. It must be etched. As an aircraft mechanic I have found it to be pretty much standard practice.
I have a 2020 LE Rubicon and that hood is definitely aluminum. In fact, all the body panels forward of the bed except for the "A" and "B" pillars are either aluminum or composite.
I take my standard poodle for short hops because she enjoys it so much. She just sits on a towel in the passenger seat next to me like a human with her lips flapping in the breeze out the window. A sight to behold.
I've read 9.42 along with 9.41 and 9.43. If you do the same you'll find in order to qualify under 9.42 you must meet the requirements of the other two. Even though Texas is the only state with a 9.42 statute out of 50 you still must be very careful how you conduct your self or you could face 99...
Hood locks are great in any fashion. However, if you've got something going on under the hood like maybe a FIRE you need immediate access without fiddle farting around with a hood lock that may or may not work when precious time counts. With a TAZER MINI installed the horns pointed directly at...
Sorry you had to get new hinges too. At least I know I'm not the only one who experienced a problem with them. That hood looks great by the way. I like that nose piece on the hood. Can you tell me where you found it?
I can't directly answer your question but I will say this; I have a Rubicon hood on my LE and wanted to remove it so I could more easily install a 30w solar panel on it. I don't know what they used to install the hood hinge bolts but by using the correct size torx tip and a breaker bar I...
It IS an annual safety inspection item. FCA has to fix it one way or another. I wouldn't know where to go from here without a wiring diagram. Good luck.
I would exhaust ALL other possibilities before attempting to replace that item. Most vehicles have their horn circuit run through a relay. However, there is not one designated for that purpose in this case. All I see controlling power is F91 20A Yel. Try this; turn the steering wheel with engine...
Did the horn work before they replaced the ECM? If not, since you did check the fuse, there might be a problem with the clock spring under the steering wheel. Does the horn chirp when you lock it up? (selective)
I'm sorry but if it were me I would pull the alternator off, clean it up and reinstall it. They are real simple to work on. I've had to do it in the past on other 4 by's. A lot cheaper than a retainer for a lawyer and you keep your warranty. I made up my mind a long time ago to never bring a...
Actually, as you turn the wheel to make a corner the centrifugal force exerted on the object resting in the tray should keep it stationary as long as you're not going up or down an incline. LOL. I can just imagine how many people will attempt driving with these things attached to the wheel...
I own a 2020 LE. I have built on line a Rubicon version with exactly the same amenities and the pricing is almost identical as the LE at as little over 62K. The only difference is the name badge and a black leather stitched area where it is amber red on a regular Rubicon dash.
