  1. 3.6L engine BCAKORDER

At the time, the delaer couldn't get me a 3.8, I found a Jasper shop nearby, got them to quote me a 3.8 and install, and took that to the dealer who then paid their portion of it. I don't remember what i paid out of pocket, but what the dealership paid was the full engine price + maybe 25%-50%...
  2. 3.6L engine BCAKORDER

My dealer worked with me and paid for a portion of the Jasper engine, at least the portion that their order/engine would have cost. Might be worth a pitch to your dealer to see if they'd entertain the same.
  3. 2023 JT Willys Aftermarket “Max Tow Package”

The labor needed to make it a max tow is not worth it. As mentioned, the Rubicon/Max Tow/Mojave axles are not only wider but also beefier, more splines as well if I am not mistaken. The cooling package has been shown to be a viable addition, someone did that recently, but it wasn't a walk in the...
  4. 3.6L engine BCAKORDER

Check jasper engines, they got me a new 3.8 back when mine blew up also. Great service and they address most of the shortcomings of the current 3.6
  5. Building my own flush tail lights

We need to start an ordering system to keep track of the versions, revisions, and types lol
  6. teraflex 1.5 leveling kit

No to sway bar, but maybe to track bar. On my 23 rubicon with the teraflex the axle is maybe a half inch off towards the driver side but it’s only noticeable once you measure it.
  7. Building my own flush tail lights

To me, this is the ideal design, I am indifferent to the other comments about the length/symmetry of the side marker, but having the ability to swap the rear-facing light is a huge plus.
  8. NHTSA kills rights to access wireless OBD

This could get interesting. It's going to pit the aftermarket against manufacturers at some eventual crossroads.
  9. Building my own flush tail lights

I'll have to jump on this bandwagon too. The ability to potentially swap lights with ease is a plus in my opinion. The previous designs, while badass, would require a more intensive effort should a LED fail. My main question is this: What does the taillight housing graveyard look like for you...
  10. Building my own flush tail lights

It looks like that may be the best due to the flow of light. If it went side to side/up-down or vide versa, it may bee too quick of a sequence to be noticeable.
  11. Building my own flush tail lights

Oooooooo Those looks nice! I prefer the simplicity of the housings.
  12. Alternatives to the PowerStop Z36 Extreme Brake Kit?

With regards to pedal travel, might be worth checking your brake fluid and bleeding the system of air. I would start there before spending $ on brake kits.
  13. Building my own flush tail lights

Does it matter if it's mounted to the jeep?
  14. I.D. This Tire

    Could be Maxxis Trepadors.
  15. Hesitation in 3rd Gear at 2k RPM

One dealer has said that it's normal and the transmission "rubber bands" meaning it'll alow slip and then slap itself back into gear; the other didn't take it for a test drive but believed me when i said it was wrong and has worked with me quite well so far. I may ask them to let me take a 22...
  16. Hesitation in 3rd Gear at 2k RPM

I believe it is relatively new. My hesitttion is back and i have an appt on the 19th to get it checked out.
  17. Building my own flush tail lights

Will agree; something looks lopsided on the driver one. I wonder if you printed two of the "new" versions and only have that on the jeep if it would look better; perhaps the old version makes our perception wonky. I also prefer the old version; makes changing the actual light unit easier if...
  18. Building my own flush tail lights

How you haven't petitioned your city to repaint the hydrant in HVY, is beyond me. Just a few shades and you've got a HVY hydrant to match your JT :movember:
  19. do these automatically idle up/accelerate in 4 low to climb over obstacles?

100%. Same as when you're in drive and it moves forward, except in 4 low it's got some grunt to it due to the low range.
  20. Diesel tank in a Gas

Found a few flaoting around on the forum: These are both looking front to back, driver side is on the right. The exhaust will obviously be the largest hurdle to run the tank on the driverside. But looking at the bolt holes on the diesel tank looks like they mount to the body on a few of the...
