Those other manufacturer approvals don't mean anything. Just because one oil may share all but the MS-12991 spec with another doesn't automatically mean that it's good enough. You may as well just compare the SN spec, which Rotella and Castrol both meet.
Dealers in the NE area seem to suck in general. I just negotiated with Central Jeep in Raynham, and was able to get a decent discount. Everywhere else will tell you to pound sand.
I always just find the button for the key to flip out, then go down from there to find the unlock button. I can feel the transition between the three...
Do you have the 3.6 or the 3.0 diesel?
If the gasser, it’ll give you more lift, but you’ll run into rubbing issues if you go 35s and keep stock wheels.
The owner's manual mentions every 10,000 miles to drain it. FWIW, I haven't drained mine, nor has my SO's father who has a Gen 2 with over 100,000 miles.
I've got the Mopar 2" currently and I feel like I bounce around too much. I see a set on FB for $500, but they're for the 0-1.5" lift, so I'd have to get shock extenders. Do you think this would provide a better on-road ride than what I currently have? My JT is a pavement queen, so I'd like to...
I've got ~23,000mi on my EcoDiesel. Drove it cross country which put on about 10,000mi more than where I would normally.
So far, I've had the right rear axle replaced (common issue across all models of Gladiator) and an error for the charging system has been nagging me in Uconnect. Thought I...
There's a post somewhere outlining some threshold that needs to get set properly via an ECU update. I don't think it actually causes any drivability issues, but probably wouldn't hurt.
All of my numbers were based on the computer, so it's probably a little worse if I were to hand calculate. I'm in MA so it's pretty hilly where I am. I had been running Hotshots but got sick of it leaking out of the bottle in the cab, so I stopped. Didn't really notice a difference one way or...
Yep, they were swapped--I was the one that installed it :)
Didn't happen right away--only after about 10,000 miles going cross country towing a camper. Not sure if I prematurely wore out a component--I've heard that other folks have had their tie rods fail early.
I've never seen 30 MPG doing...
After installing 35s and Mopar 2" lift in mine, I hardly noticed a hit to the power or MPGs... YMMV of course, but I would go for it. Now I'm just dealing with some death wobble... lol
