I checked the build sheet. I have the heavy duty cooling but no tow package. Must've been part of the aux switches. I had no idea that came with the heavy duty cooling. Good to know. I'm glad I figured this out before buying the fan.
I do not. I have a 2024 manual transmission Rubicon. No tow package. But the parts manager at the dealership is insistent that I have the 850w fan. I'm probably just going to pull it out and check.
Hopefully this isn't a dead thread. I was curious about adding this because I have the 240v alternator. I reached out to the parts guy at my local dealership and he pulled my VIN and told me I already have the 850w fan and basically told me that any truck with the 4.10 gearing has the 850w fan...
Awesome. This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I pulled the trigger on the slammer and ordered today. My plan is also to keep this gladiator until I die (or until I give it to a kid in 15 years). I don't have passengers behind me often but if we ever have a third kid I might need to move the...
That's a fair point about warranty. However, I hate these seats to the point I almost regret buying a rubicon because i hate the leather power seats. I miss the cloth manual seats of my JKU. If the power seats ever break I think I'd just take the opportunity to find someone selling some...
Thanks for your feedback. I'm 6'6" so I am looking at the seat slammers to sit a little deeper. I have no doubt the jackers on their own would help with thigh support.
I am considering installing the seat slammers in my 2024 Jeep Gladiator (with the power seats) to get some additional let/head room and combat low back pain on long drives. I've seen a lot of raving reviews about the slammers and jackers (looking at the second option for slammers that comes with...
I drive exactly as you describe and I sit between 14.5 and 15.2 mpg in my ā24 manual rubicon. I know itās not a huge amount but Iād be happy with 16-17 let alone the 22 youāre getting. I think Iāll just turn off the mpg tracking on the dash and forget about it for a while.
That makes sense about accelerating, thanks. My next issues it that those brief acceleration moments seem to tank my average MPG a lot more than the lengthy driving at 16-20 MPG raises it back up.
2024 JTR 6MT owner here. I've been trying to pay more attention to MPG to get a sense of whether its my driving style thats causing my MPG to be so low compared to the rest of you. I noticed that for the brief moment I'm in 1st gear my MPG is at 1-2 and in 2nd gear its usually 3-5 MPG. Even when...
Yeah it does seem extreme for a gladiator, but If that is a max tow with a payload upwards of 1,700 then it should be fine in theory. Out of curiosity I looked into that company and those campers run about 1,100-1,300lb. That leaves 400-600lbs for driver and cargo.
Meanwhile I almost max out my...
Jeep owners can generally be divided into two categories.
Category A: Those who bought a Jeep because they think Jeeps are cool, end of story. These easy going people see the ducks for what they are, a friendly gesture from someone else that says "hey man, I also think your car is cool." A...
I'm curious, but outrage from who? I have a Rubicon and I am planning to take the red hooks off once I decide what color to replace them (debating white, black, or to match them to my hydro blue). Already swapped out the Trail Rated Badge and Decals. The color doesn't mean anything. I'm trying...
