  1. Forum sponsors, and misleading sales.

So.. in the spirit of trying to play nicely, here... I'm just trying to get some feedback from folks on an issue. Recently, I've noticed an uptick on a specific forum sponsor, whom I'm sure many of us have signed up with for marketing and sales info, that seems to be falling into the trap of...
  2. Making Center Console USB Switched

By using the dual fuse system, we plug both sides in, but don't bridge the connections, when we leave the power fuse out on the one side where we only want power to go. Note: get a test light. Helped a friend do his the other day, and his 'hot' leg was actually the opposite of mine. If we...
  3. Blackhorse Offroad - Non existent customer service

Never heard of that, looks like I have something else to add to my shopping list :) ~ Casp
  4. Blackhorse Offroad - Non existent customer service

Well, at least you're good on that end. (Note, you probably already know all this, but I've been shocked how many people don't, so mentioning it) If they won't cover your warranty (sounds like they won't) I'd either find a local powder coating place that will put a nice thick coat on, or you...
  5. Mopar Roll Up Tonneau Cover

Bout 2 years too late to discover that now ;) I used an old trick my dad showed me years ago, with string and super glue. You can attach a string, via super glue to a steel nut or bolt, and once it bonds, that bond will last about 15-30 mins while the temperature is changing outside. The steel...
  6. Mopar Roll Up Tonneau Cover

Mine works and looks just as nice as when I got it, and I actually bought mine second hand (along with the trail rail system, too) both from JKLivin833. So, yeah.. has held up perfectly. One thing to note, if you buy second hand, Mopar actually reversed the mounting points at some point...
  7. Blackhorse Offroad - Non existent customer service

Hmm... actually saw someone locally selling one of these on FB the other day, and thought I saw rust in their photos, even though the seller claims 'Like brand new!'. So, your experience is a good time to ask.. how deep in the rust? Is it a quality item, with a crap thin powdercoat, or is the...
  8. Another dead JT...

Honestly, I'd be ok with the Auto Stop, if it wasn't so friggen quick to activate. If I'm sitting still for 10 seconds or something, fine.. but I can't tell you how much I hate the fact that it turns itself off the moment I come to a stop in my driveway, and am reaching down to put it into park...
  9. The 2024 Gladiator Reveals on 9/13/23!

Following the calendar invite link in that email, it simply points to: https://www.youtube.com/@JeeP The actual 'Sign up' seems to have a unique token in it, so if they click on it, it'll just give YOU the signup ;) ~ Casp
  10. Tennessee Jeep JL/JT Tire & Wheel Package

Not gonna lie, actually did the math with the wife this weekend about taking a trip to get in on this deal.. lol. Ultimately, she agreed that if she doesn't have to sit thru a 16 hour drive, she'll not complain when I put the Mopar lift and tires at the same time, lol. Still, wish deals like...
  11. Forbes Hottest Future Collectible Cars (Gladiator #55 and Wrangler #1) ???????????????????

... It's Forbes... They're clearly experts in everything automotive. Lol ~ Casp
  12. My Gladiator is making a thump or popping noise when turning steering wheel left or right

I'm going to propose a simple solution (since I just had the same thing happen, today.. lol), may not be the problem, but figured I'd at least offer up a potentially easy problem that can cause a pop when turning the wheel. Have you checked your inner fender liners? After washing mine today, I...
  13. Tire fill alert... HOW??

I've used this before.. but, anymore, I just prefer to use my Kobalt compressor. Set the pressure gauge to 3lbs over my desired fill, and let it go. (3lbs, because as soon as the thing starts running, it always goes up 3lbs, and when the compressor turns off, it drops 3lbs.. lol) Gauge...
  14. PSA: Change your cabin air filter

I'm with Alx here.. normally. This last week, though.. sheesh. Popped the Sunrider, the other day, and drove home from the office. I walk in, and the wife looks at me, and asks if there was a pop-up rain shower or something on the way home, I was so soaked. LOL Bleh. ~ Casp
  15. Star team trying defraud me! Need advice!!

Potential other point of view, here: Is it possible, the OP bought the vehicle, used, and it already had a winch on it? Thereby, OP seems to believe his winch is an OEM part? @Ironman 67 Is that the case, here? Did you buy the vehicle with the winch already attached? If so, you need to...
  16. No more Parts and Services for EcoDiesel at jeep Dealership.

The US needs to universally start enforcing reimbursement of court costs, instead of it being by state or jurisdiction. Honestly, the moment that happens, I suspect we'll see a drop off of so many frivilous/false cases. ~ Casp
  17. No more Parts and Services for EcoDiesel at jeep Dealership.

Ironically, I actually left Toyota/Scion, due to a bad dealership experience, and then Toyota refusing to do anything about it. (TLDR: Was in an accident, insurance wouldn't total vehicle, so I had the dealership repair it. They botched the job repeatedly, and wouldn't own up to it.. Toyota...
  18. Bestop SunScreen: JL / JT Sunshade for Sunrider for Hardtop released!

Bestop makes the OEM Mopar sunrider.. they're literally the same thing, so I would assume so :) ~ Casp
  19. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Technically yesterday... but I hacked up my hood to install the Mopar CAI hood cutout. Marvel in the horror show that is my bodywork skills:
  20. Bestop SunScreen: JL / JT Sunshade for Sunrider for Hardtop released!

I'm with others in this, very cool.. but not $200 cool, when you can get a semi generic sunshade for $20-50 that can just be put in place, permanently, with the Sunrider. Also, if that shade operates like most blackout shades do, those springs are going to likely get janked up pretty quick...
