  1. Weird Power Hiccup

Auto or manual? Trans slippage possibly? Does it happen in any gear or only a certain one? If its auto try moving over to manual and force it hold a gear. Do the rpm's fluctuate when this happens? Could be something weird going on with the electronic gas pedal maybe. Just brain storming.
  2. Fix scratched black textured hardtop with Mopar touchup paint?

Just make up a good story about how you scratched it up pulling a Bronco out that was stuck in the mud!! ? Seriously though I understand wanting to keep your ride pristine. Once I got over my first few scratches and redneck pin stripes my truck became alot more enjoyable. Not saying I don't care...
  3. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

Oh man yeah, that's a nasty hump to get over!! I literally cut my wheels hard passenger and walked the inside wall of that bank. I went full send so the momentum carried me through. Great video, thanks for sharing.
  4. I'm Skeptical of These New Grille Cooling Claims

I checked my wife's 20 JT yesterday. Hers has one of those mesh painted grill inserts (more restrictive) and it was 97 degrees out, had the ac running and stopped in a parking lot. Coolant temp was 186 degrees. Although I do like the new look, I have doubts about the improved cooling abilities...
  5. Display keeps dialing my phone

My other phone would do it plugged in or not.
  6. Display keeps dialing my phone

Try unpairing your phone, then pair a different phone. I bet it won't do this with a different phone.
  7. Display keeps dialing my phone

Same issue for me too. I was using a Samsung Z-flip 3 without issue, changed to a Z-flip 4 and the issue started. Went back to the Z-flip 3, issue went away. It's something with the phone. So I have a new Z-flip 4 that I don't use. Guess I should sell it.
  8. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

Found the clip. It's not a good vantage point but it's definitely the right spot. I walked up the inside wall.
  9. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

Ahhh, yes, I know exactly where you're talking about. I have that clip somewhere as well and it was another full send. I tend to drive that way which can be good or bad. I do get it done but have broke some minor parts in doing so. I carry a spare u-joint and stub axle in my off road kit. I'll...
  10. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

This is on 16 closer to the beginning part of the trail. 16 is rutted out really bad. I rolled a tire off the bead and took out my passenger front fender on this trail.
  11. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

I think this is the spot you are talking about. I took the high line and it worked out good. This was back in the beginning of June.
  12. Steering Box Question

I've been looking at these as well. I like the idea of additional support.
  13. Steering Box Question

Thanks for the reply and I agree. I'm 100% positive it wasn't loose before. That's how I noticed it didn't "feel" the same. I also have the luxury of having a second JT to drive and compare, and what used to be identical between the 2 was no longer the case. As of now, after the adjustment, it...
  14. Steering Box Question

On my last off roading adventure a few weeks ago my truck took a side impact on the driver side front axle with the wheels turned. Nothing horrible but but was enough to knock the steering wheel on a 45 degree angle. I assume the tie rod somehow managed to jump a thread and I corrected it after...
  15. Do it yourself alignment

That's great!! I've checked mine a couple times since the initial alignment and it was spot on. It seems to be a well made tool that paid for itself the first time I used it. Thanks for the update.
  16. Rear end sagging

Man I'm diggin the turbine engine!! I would say air bags or max tow springs would be your best bet.
  17. Decent off road drive to Pinnacle Mtn Firetower in Johnson City Tn.

Nice! Everyone I wheel with (98% wranglers) are amazed at how capable our JT's are. I have done everything and more than they do. Is the underside a little battle worn? Yes it is but that is to be expected with our long wheelbase. I'm not sure what the limit is yet, I haven't found it. It's most...
  18. Sad day - Schrockworks winch bumper doesn’t fit

Check out Tyger. Super heavy duty and very well made. 5mm (.197) thick. Mid width https://www.tygerauto.com/bumpers-guards/tyger-bumper/tg-bp6j80068/tyger-fury-front-bumper-fit-07-18-wrangler-jk-18-23-jl-20-23-gladiator-textured-black-tg-bp6j80068.html Stubby width...
  19. Non-Rubi locker switches

Another way to explain it is in what we're calling standbalone mode, they function the same as the rest of the switches in the switch banks. If you turn them on, theyre on and energize the switch whether they're connected to anything or not. Just like a normal switch. The other mode is set up...
  20. Non-Rubi locker switches

Mine is a Willys which is trimmed out sport so yes I would put it in stand alone mode. Unless you just want the safety factor of needing conditions to be met in order to activate the lockers, ie being in 4 lo and the sensors working. Honestly I've not tried it the other way (beeping) so maybe it...
