You would proably need to know they exact draw of the cubes. If close to the factory no reason they should not work.
I swapped out my fogs for Diode Dynamics SS3 lights. They work perfectly w the factory switch.
Eddelbrock is carb I think?
I went through this when I bought. I wanted the tow rating and payload of the max tow; for towing.
with the reported issues the D has on overheating when towing. Lack of tow rating and lower payload.
I opted for the supercharger.
mines on order.
Avg horse is what 1200 lbs x2? + trailer 3k? puts ya at 5400. Most horse trailers are less than 7' wide.
Probably a good set up. Not sure if you do WTH on a horse trailer? Never towed one.
I went Maggie, same boat as you, looking for towing power.
The maggie trq is much greater than the Eddy. 3k rpm it's at or over 300 ft vs 210ish for the Eddy. Eddy never gets over 275 peak vs 320 peak for the maggi.
I'm just going off the factor dyno charts.
All that said Eddy is 50 state...
Correct, for the warranty you have to use there tune.
The only cat failure in a JL or JT I have read abought was on the JL forum, that rig had an issue tracked back to an o2 sensor (if I remember correctly), EGR valve that actually had nothing to do with the tune or SC...
LOL no, but you'll reduce the effectiveness. That said it would still work. I got solid 2.5 mile range w my 5w hand held using it in cab.
Any particular reason?
You can get smaller lower profile antenna.
You could wait for the 575 that was announced, a 275 but 50 watt vs the 15 of the 275.
Honestly range is more a determination line of site with uhf. The 275 hidden unit is very slick with the ability to stow the "mic" when not in use.
I have mine tucked up to the right of the glove box.
$9500 +- a bit.
Kits are 6700 + shipping + tax. The install is sorta on the high side, they are doing a couple other minor things also. But I "interviewed" 3 shops, one I would not take a yugo for an oil change to, other seemed like a good shop next door for normal stuff but self admittedly...
Ya first, take smaller groups. Only take those that aren't work to be around.
We have a motorcycle group, same deal, lots of folks came at different times. But only those that really fit ever were invited back. Now it's a core group that fits. It's not "hard" in fact it's so ez because we all...
