If the question is that Hummer still on active duty the answer is no. It is a former military HMMWV though.

So I thought all of the humvees that you could buy on www.govplanet.com were all non-street legal off-road only. Is there a certain type you can register or a process that you can follow to get these registered in certain states to be road legal?

Varies some by state. That one has California tags so it met the requirements. Our HMMWVs had two light systems. The tactical 'blackout drive' settings and the other controlled normal headlights, taillights, blinkers, flashers etc for our convoys with you civilians.

Its legit and looks pretty good for a civi owned vehicle. Some of the bolt together wheels similar to what's on that vehicle are not DOT approved. I drove a civilian 1996 HUMMER for awhile and loved it and the creature comforts in a military version are basically not there. The civi HUMMER usually has a 6.5L turbo diesel where the mil versions were mostly 6.2L non turbo.

Up until a few years ago they came with the paperwork to title. Then they switched to offroad use only

Yes yes yes on many comments here. The "claymore" is a crappy replica being the legs are molded in same plastic.?
I did have a "training" demo kit that had 2 training aid claymores and much of the rest exact size replicas of C4, TNT blocks and rest. I got a lot of time teaching soldiers how to use the stuff and to make some neat things with it.? this picture was from when giving training in early 90s might have been a bit of over kill on C4 charge, but did get and keep attention from everyone. My curse was I "looked" like a kid till my mid to late

If you earned the patch, you were not a kid. Either at Carson or later at Bragg..... you were RECONDO. Small units dedicated to the task..... reconnoiter, engage, evade. and escape.

That’s a Claymore mine, and I have NO IDEA why someone would mount that on top of a vehicle.

Thank you all for your service.

An original claymore cover might be perfect foglight cover/holder on my resto. Been looking for an indestructible container for some bright lights slung low up front
