“Jeep” tires on a Land Cruiser

Just got back from a South African safari and I was really impressed by these tires. They are not big or wide, but they go over seemingly everything. They appear to be made specially for the South African market - specifically for safari vehicles. I think the specs showed them to be 14 ply. They’d look goofy on a modern Wrangler or Gladiator, but I was super impressed. Obviously they’re not rock crawling and these vehicles hardly even see pavement so it was interesting to see a purpose-build tire for this very specific application.

Jeep related because they put “Jeep” right there on the tire as if that’s the style.
