RealTruck here! Found this in a glovebox👀

“New year, fresh calendar… same owner who keeps walking past me in the driveway like I don’t have feelings.

Since we’re rolling into 2026, I figured I’d speak up. I’ve got a few New Year’s resolutions, and honestly, I’ve been trying to tell you these things for a while.

First off, what’s my resolution? I’d really like to get out a bit more. A trip to the beach, the mountains, the trails, or honestly just putting some more miles on the odometer would be nice.

Second, remember that project you said you’d “get to soon”? Yeah… I’m still waiting. 2026 feels like a good year to finally stop putting it off.

And lastly, I could really use a lifestyle change. More trails, more work, more road trips, more time outside. I wasn’t built to just sit here.”

XOXO,
Your Gladiator"

Curious what everyone else’s trucks are asking for this year?? 🤔

Drop a reply and tell us what your truck is hoping for in 2026.

Vinny Spaulding at RealTruck found a similar note in his glovebox! 😮 His Gladiator's resolutions this year are:

  1. Fender chop or aftermarket fenders
  2. Finish the bed... adding some molle panels to secure my air compressor would also make room for a new jack and shovel set. Js.
  3. Go offroad more!
  4. Kick some bad habits. Auxiliary battery delete!

- upsize to 37's
- Build a new half height bed cap thats a tad shorter so I can park in the garage with the RTT mounted
- Possible spring swap to lower lift height by about an inch (related to previous ^^)
- Finish final design of bed drawers and slideout
- Relocate battery and components for house power system
- Wire in plug for trailer DC-DC charger
- Diesel weight reduction surgery
- Explore more of home state. We usually head out west to the mountains or desert, but MN has a lot to offer (just too damn many mosquitos)
- Explore the Ozarks. Meet Bub at Bubs Cabin.
- Camp on South Padre Island National Seashore
- Grow the podcast

I'm going to replace my drag link, install my diff covers, and a steering stabilizer relocation. Also clean up a little wiring around the battery. That's all I know of so far.

We don't have any Gladiator specific plans. Trying to get back to Moab - but I don't have that nailed down just yet.

Big plans. You've got your work cut out for you this year! There's trails nearby my area that I'm looking forward to exploring myself. This is the year to be outdoors 🤞

Is it timing or projects that's holding up the Moab plans?

No more skipping leg day for your Gladiator 🦵

That was a horrible pun, and I'm not sorry 😅 Do you have a set of tires already planned out?

Ball joints from MC should be here in a few days. Installing them is the only thing I currently have planned.
