My wife is fortunate not only to own a JT Texas Trail but also the fact that my hobby is detailing and I do it for fun. I spent right at 10hrs on it this past Saturday. You'll notice I had to tape off all the rubber and plastics before doing an all in one polish/wax. For those that are curious, here is what I did and what I used.

Exterior:
Undercarriage wash

Wash (Rinse, Foam Cannon, Rinse, Hand Wash)
Iron Decontamination
Hand Dry
1 Stage (All in One) machine polish/wax
Clean Glass
Dress all Vinyl/Rubber/Plastic

Interior:
Vacuum
Pet Hair Removal
Wipe Down all Interior Surfaces
Clean all leather/vinyl seats
Dress all Interior Vinyl/Plastic
Treat all Leather Seats
Clean Glass

Products Used
Exterior:

Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II
Superior Products Dark Fury
Stoner Invisible Glass
Superior Products Aqua Gloss
3D Speed

Interior:

Looking great, I love how sarge green's yellow tones come out when polished. I've found no need to tape when using Menzerna's line of polish (no fillers or silicone, near zero dust or white residue) which saves a ton of time. Also, if you clay before polishing your pads will last twice as long and any ceramic, sealant or wax will adhere better while providing more visual depth. It's astonishing the amount of contaminants clay pulls out beyond a great cleaning and thorough IronX treatment.

I perform a similar process bi-yearly and it promptly gets dirty again. The difference, and the reason I put in the full day's work every other year is that I can foam cannon & pressure wash it back to showroom condition in under 10 minutes. Weeks baked-on KY clay can't stick to modern ceramic when hit with pressure.

Really nice work!
Exactamundo! Keeping your rig clean, polished and protected makes for a quick foam bath and wash. The more you put in, the more you get out. If you don’t go all the way, it will always look dirty even after a normal wash. Thanks for the Menzerna tip! Griot’s Garage is a local brand near me, so I have tried to support them best I can, though I think most of their stuff is sub-par. Always looking for good pro tips to keep my cars looking like new. And don’t get me wrong, my JT sees the trails, but she always gets a super clean afterwards.

When you are waxing, do you keep the polisher on speed setting 1 and just do one pass with light pressure to spread the wax?
Do you just wipe the wax off with a microfiber cloth? I was wondering if I'd get a better shine with wiping all the wax off with the microfiber cloth then using a 10" random orbital buffer with a clean microfiber pad to go over the car a final time?

Just applying wax only, yes I keep the polisher on a lower setting. Minimal pressure. I then wipe it all off with a microfiber. I don't think I would go over the surface with a dry pad.

If you're not happy with the shine you're getting, there are alot of things it could be. One is the product however, I suspect the most likely is the condition of the clearcoat prior to waxing (if waxing only is what you're doing). To get maximum shine on the average paint surface with lots of clear coat scratches, you really need to follow this flow:

Wash
Iron Decon
Clay Bar
Polish (Multiple stages if needed using appropriate level of cut and or polish compound and pads)
IPA Wash
Sealant (Ceramic, Wax etc)

You're probably right on the existing clearcoat condition. Shine is much better than it was before I worked on it. It's a 10 yr old car with black paint. Compounded, polished, then waxed. First time using a dual action polisher. Figured I couldn't screw it up that bad. Definitely still some swirls on the hood but the rest of the car came out pretty good. Was going to try to re-compound the hoods but didn't want to get too aggressive with it. Worst case I'll bring it to a detailer.
Would probably have better results with the Jeep since I'm starting with a good clearcoat.

What is IPA wash after the polish?

Isopropyl Alcohol. It’s good to use after all processes are done right before putting on your sealant/wax to make sure they’re aren’t any lingering contaminates on the surface from the other steps.

Fort Worth and I don’t do it much for hire. I don’t have enough time. When I do have time, I’m doing one of ours or I’ll offer to do it for free for someone just to get a car to detail. Every now and then I do one for money. Just enough to pay for my equipment and chemicals. I’d charge $300 for this much of a detail.
Well I live up near the Alliance shopping center if you ever decide to do it for hire lol. $300 is a killer price for a detail job this elaborate.

Just wet a microfiber cloth with it and wipe the car down?

Spray it on the car and wipe it down. It assures there isn't any residue or film left on the clear coat before you put your wax or sealant of choice.

2 questions:

Which iron decon works the best without staining the black plastic fenders and door handles? I read adam's will stain them.

How do you get mud stains off of those darn fenders?? I scubbed with 3 different products yesterday, VRP, simple green, and invisible whatever by chemical guys. Nothing worked.
