A friend helped with install of a 2.5” leveling lift kit on my Sport S. 2.5” on the front, 1.5” on the rear, 33” Cooper ATPs. If I accelerate briskly I get a slight one time popping noise that seems to come from the front. Can also get the noise when making a sharp turn under acceleration. In looking at the spring/isolator/spacer, it looks like it may not be seated properly or the spring may need to be rotated. By looking at the photos, can anyone advise? JT drives great otherwise. Thanks

Might be helpful to know which kit you installed.

Yeah it looks like the springs and or the spring isolator isn't properly seated. Also check that the spring is aligned properly with the isolator. I did a spacer lift as well and had the same issue when I first seated them. Its an easy fix, just make sure the top two nipples are seated in the guide holes. I used a little grease to keep the isolator/nipples seated. It did help.

I installed a 1.5 TeraFlex spacer kit last night and had the same bulge on my passenger side. I know the pins were aligned and the lower end of the spring was rotated against the stop. Once I said screw it and put it on the ground with weight it looked fine. I was pissed and now I am just confused why it was so bulged to the drivers side when in the air and now on the ground it is fine. If anyone has solid answer I would love to hear it also.
