I don’t want to sound too in my head over a bolt lose issue but could this bolt being loose(stripped) cause the truck to shake a tad? When it is tight it drives like butter.
I went to get a replacement bolt and they won’t sell me the single bolt- they want to replace the whole break line to get the new bolt.
I have tried putting in the same size bolt but just isn’t the same and the service departments around here are out until February.

Those look normal to me.
Although lunentucker might know what he’s talking about (it is hard to tell from my phones video recording) that was too much free play. Outter Drag link above skid plate got replaced and back to being stiff and drives like it did when it came off the lot!

I checked mine at 10k miles yesterday and it's still nice and snug. I'd only assume that yours wasn't torqued properly from the factory to have worn out so quickly.
At any rate, glad you got it sorted!

So the dealer got it snug, and when I went to check it after a few trips down the road it became slightly loose again. Would you suggest a brand to replace the pitman arm of outter drag link?

when the dealer installs the synergy mfg track bar Thursday, with a new track bar if I ask them to tighten the pitman arm will this keep both in check?

I'd make sure that the bolts holding the steering gearbox are properly torqued and that there's no play or flex in that or the pitman arm.
I'd install the Metalcloak brace either way, for added strength and security.
I actually have one that I am going to install very soon.
Was going to do it this weekend, but a free beach house offer came up, so it'll have to wait.

so your saying that brace will prevent this drag bar from loosening?

It’s been mentioned for Mojave trim levels synergy brace you need to make other adjustments which seems easy enough, as I am certain I will need to make same improvisions w metal cloak brace
Is this the same snug fit yours is set like?

Mine moves about that much and drives great.
I'd go with the Metalcloak brace over the Synergy all day long.

I understand yours is on point. I want to clarify what putting a MC brace will help on yours.
Would installing metal cloak to get the drag link to affirm tightness and prevent any more looseness

It will add support where it's needed on the bottom of the gearbox spline and Pitman arm connection on the drag link. If your actual drag link joints are loose and worn then replace the drag link, end to end.
A small amount of movement when you rock the drag link is common, at least in the OE ones I've seen.
I checked one on the dealership showroom floor and it moved the same.

You installing this week? Can offer shipment of quadratec dead pedal if you duck tape a go pro during installation lol

much easier to communicate and relay information on this brace with Mojave or diesel jt owners as to go to these other threads with trim levels where the brace matches up differently.

I already have a dead pedal, and it'll be at least a week away.
But yeah, the Metalcloak seems to be a much easier installation and a better made product. We'll see.

so I had brought my Mojave into dealer last week, I mentioned they torqued or did something equivalent to make my Mojave act like a Mojave again (ex. Whatever gives the truck the truckier handling (verse rubicon float feeling)

they torqued whatever part that delivers that handling all of us mojave drivers enjoy so much.

I tried contacting the dealer to check what they re torqued, busy). It Bounced out or got loose again( whatever the sensation I.e. stiffness) and I am trying to figure out what component that part may be so that I am able to either torque or replace that part.
Any idea as to what I may describing?

sort of feel like it occurred after disengaging or engaging 4hi yesterday, but don’t limit this assumption and also noticed a small pool of some clearish liquid on the ground just behind the skid plate area is where it fell from.

UPDATE

I found out they bled the steering dampener due to air bubbles

PROBLEM

I keep getting air bubbles. What to do to find a long term solution- anyone?

still Not the mojave handling I was speaking of.

my front fluid around axle also leaking after it got replaced 15k miles ago.
My head hurts from this thing
