I just need to know what colors are going to be available, other than that I’m ready to place my order. I’ll go Silver if I have to but prefer something in earth tones (Gobi/Sahara) or Mango Tango Pearl.

I texted my salesman yesterday to see if order banks were opening today. He just responded "No, from what the rep says, it's gonna be a few months."
My salesperson said she was told the same, and that if I wanted a 2022, I probably wouldn’t see it until December-January. But she also said Jeep sometimes says one thing and does another, so I guess nobody knows!

Lol tell me about it. I’m here fresh off the Bronco train, which was a whole lot of hurry up and wait. I wanted a gladiator originally, but the timing didn’t work out, then the Bronco was revealed, and I reserved one, waited months, and then finally got to order one, and then waited more months. They can’t make the hard tops for them, and I didn’t want a 4-door soft top, so I was told I’d be waiting until 2022 to finally see mine. So, I decided to revisit the gladiator. Test drove a rubicon last week and it was great! So now I’m so done with waitin around! Time to get something I can take the doors off, and drive it into the woods!

Wow that is quite the adventure you’ve been on! They closed ordering off the 80th edition the day I wanted to place my order. My lease is up in December and I need to sell my Ram before then and cash in on the equity. I’m scared to death I’ll wreck it before I get a gladiator!

Did this dealership also have a good deal of 2021s on the lot? I'm curious if that's something they're saying to help sell the inventory off the lot.

I went to two dealerships on my way home from work to see if they could match Gupton and it was a hard no. One dealership had no idea when 2022s would open. The other said it should be soon but didn know a date. Said the only thing that closed was the 80th anniversary. Hoping it’s not December or January like in a few post before me.

I only saw two of them on their lot and when I checked their website just now I only see those same two listed.

I mean even if it was delayed that much, at least they may release an updated order guide to make it clear what the plan is. Like make it clear that 2021.5 is a thing, and these are the only models, colors, and options available, etc.

I was on the same train and the wait and multiple delays were more than I was willing to sit around for. So here I am just days away from picking up my factory order Mojave. Will likely revisit the Bronco in a few years but for now I think I will be just happy where I am.

Not good enough for me haha. I want 2022!! I highly doubt it’ll be till December/January. How often has Jeep ever done a half model year?

Sounds like a good trivia question! I know dodge had a few back in the late 90s/ early 00s driven purely by engine availability.

I would honestly be more concerned they would release '2022', then do a 2022.5 later this year after we've given up hope on it.

Pretty sure the order guide for 2021 came out in September of 2020. At least that's when all the reports of Gecko being offered had started. For it to come out now seems too early.

I've seen guesses all over the calendar, but 'June' has shown up a lot. The JL forums seem to agree. Whether or not you'll actually see one before September, well ...

I think part of the problem is the JT hasn't been around long enough to establish a pattern. Launch was timed as they could, last year was (IMO) influenced by the additional drivetrain, and this year by Covid.

In other words... it's a crapshoot, but I'm here for it.
