A few weeks ago I had a deposit on a 2022 sport s Ecodiesel.. The MSRP was $49505.00 reduced down to $41786.00..
While waiting for the Fuel pump recall to be completed I found a 2023 Sport S Ecodiesel MSRP $55105.00 I got the dealer down to $42498.00. The only difference between the 2 trucks is color and the 2023 also has the Technology group.. other than they are identical..
I feel both of these are decent deals and I am leaning towards the 2023 but the market is crazy and Stelantis has had some crazy mark-ups this year so I wanted to see what people thought of the pricing... Thanks in advance to everyone who chimes in

As you know, the 23 at 23% off of MSRP is clearly the better deal. Colors and options play a huge role on how much dealers are willing to negotiate. The dealers around here are littered with "sport" black, white and grey/silver models, so you can push them for deeper discounts. Before the dealer discounts they had a 15% manu discount as opposed to the 10% available on the Rubicons and Mojave. You also have to take into account when the 2023 was built. My early build 2023 had an MSRP of $74k. To build the exact same model on the Jeep site now had a cost of $77k. The price increases are seriously getting out of hand........

Donā€˜t fall for the limited diesel availability BS some dealers are trying to push out there.

They are not limited in the context that you can't order them, it's just difficult to find one with the right options on the dealer lots. Out of the 1100 gladiators in a 300 mile radius of me, only 7% of them have the diesel motor. When you add making it a Rubicon or a getting a specific color, it really isn't that easy to find the right one.........

Get the 2023, ultimately it is a year newer for about $1,000 and has the better radio which I felt wasn’t worth it but at this point would have regretted not opting for if I hadn’t.

Id say get the 23 if its the right one for you? I have 4 ecodiesel and feel the radio upgrade is well worth it to me . As a dealer one year if theres no changes isn't a huge deal really.
