I've done several videos on it, but the same thing I always use starts at 13:30

When I bought our 2023 Sarge Green Gladiator last August, I did HOURS of research on what the best undercoating/rustproofing method was. I kept coming back to Krown Rust Control which is a company that started out in Canada and now has branched down to the United States.

The only issue is that I don't believe that they don't have a terribly large numbers of vendors in the U.S. yet, and the closest one to me was in St. Louis, MO (a 3.5-hour drive from my home).

Based singularly on the research that I had done; I chose to use this product and had it initially treated at 800 miles. They spray not only the underneath of the vehicle, but they also have tools which let them spray into EVERY enclosed space there is. During the initially application, they drill some small holes in various locations, allowing them access, and then put rubber plugs into the holes afterwards. Supplemental applications are easier, as they used the same entry holes.

I just had my second application done a few weeks ago. They lock in the price of your initial application, and it will be this price every year following and will never go up.

I am 100% satisfied with this product and the only downside is that the application process is rather messy. It drips this product for several days following the application but as I plan on keep this Jeep forever, it brings me comfort knowing that I have done this. Don't quote me on this, but I'm thinking that they have a lifetime "no-rust" guarantee as long as you bring it in every year, within 30-days of the application from the year before.

I live in a relatively Northern state, in Indiana, but Not as cold as some others.

Thoughts on having my 2023 Jeep Gladiator undercoated? Yes I plan on keeping it for a long time.
I took my 2017 Ram 1500 and had it undercoated and rust proofed with TST. Never had a problem with the Ram so I immediately did my 23 Gladiator.
I drove Ram on dirt, gravel and off road a ton. Never peeled flaked or came off.

I just undercoated my 2023 gladiator that I purchased new in February 2024(leftover on the lot), and I used Surface Shield product and did it last week. I purchased 6cans from Home Depot for $52.00. This product has good reviews and really goes on nice, after a few hours, it had flowed out and I have to say I am very excited about it looks. They are stating that it will last up to 2 years... time and the winter here in S. Ohio will be the judge.

I bought my 2023 in January of 2023 and undercoated it right away with fluid film. I did it again before last winter and so far the undercarriage is spotless. Planning on doing it again here shortly, might write up a post about it with pictures if I have time.

I have been very happy with fluid film. Have to apply every fall, but it is pretty cheap. Takes me about 3 cans per vehicle. I have a couple gallons, but the spray can is just so much easier. Think they are like 8 bucks each

There's a number of threads on this - I've had almost all of my trucks undercoated professionally. The exceptions had issues, those undercoated did not.
Two of my classics were undercoated, 1 was not. Guess which one has issues with the truck and wheel wells.
The two with undercoating - one a 1970 (I bought out of MN), the other a 1982 - no rust.

I will continue to have any new vehicle undercoated and - will do what one is supposed to do - MAINTAIN IT.
Too many have it done and then just ignore it.

Cold doesn't matter - in fact, the colder areas may have less trouble. The salts shown below are ok until things get warm and humid, then all !#$% breaks loose. It's the climates like in the midwest that rot the heck out of vehicles, where any sort of salts are used.

Iowa owns stock in all sorts of salt companies - all sorts of nasty salts.

That's how AMC had it done - you can tell the plugs Ziebart used.
On my SX4, I pull bumpers so I can access the ends of the frame rails to clean and refresh things, but the body plugs are easily pulled to shoot to other areas.
