I like to track fuel mileage, operating costs and track trends to anticipate issues before they arise.
This is my 1000 mile history on my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon 3.6L - all stock.
For completeness sake, these are the items added to the Jeep:
- winch bumper and winch totaling 120 pounds.
- Recovery gear - 2 winch blankets, soft shackles, tree saver, aluminum winch ring, rope saver - 20 pounds
998 total miles traveled - 70% city / 30% highway
58 gallons of fuel used (fuel up at 1/4 tank)
- 46 gallons purchased
- Original tank of gas included
EVIC last tank fuel mileage - 18.1 mpg
Hand Calculate last tank fuel mileage - 18.1 mpg
Total Delta - 0 mpg
EVIC average fuel mileage - 17.4 mpg
Hand Calculated average fuel mileage - 17.2 mpg
Total Delta - (-.2) mpg
All in all, I am pleased with this and this sets a baseline to track against.
