The only beef that i have with the gladi is the front leg room. That along with the shape of the seat, squeezing my junk.
Yeah, I'm skinny. 145@6'5". And why I love the Mojave side bolstering. The seat base cups in an awkward way to where even I gotta find weird ways to put my leg so my junk ain't one good pot hole away from misery. However it does feel like the most spacious midsize for a tall person. I'm one of the few that is glad it didn't come with a dead pedal. I can fully stretch my off leg to the firewall for long trip comfort

I can't get past the article showing a Gladiator plowing through sand. Mine can't go a half mile on the sand without the manual transmission throwing it into limp mode. But it's "operating normally". Desert Rated my foot.
Glad I didn't get a manual. I'd have limped mode it in the dealer parking lot. pin throttled and clutch dump on my way out to just get a big no no from the Almighty Jeep Nanny. I still want a 2 door manual wrangler tho.

that’s funny. It was the first thing the dealer said. Then the pulled all the metrics and apparently I was driving it “within spec” but was still exceeding the capabilities of the clutch. Jeep needs to own that the clutch is garbage, and put better ones in.
I probably would have screwed up because I like to keep my rpm up. Not sure if that's smart in sand. Snow and ice that's different, I go for highest gear possible but most other stuff I give it throttle. Maybe in sand I'd bury myself.

Adding throttle, it will either fix the problem or end the suspense

Article wasn’t bad but where did they pull the 0-60 time? 5.8 seconds on the V6. I wish….

You'd be surprised what I've hauled - more than "a sheet or two", etc.
The tailgate half down I believe is good for 500.
Consider that only one end of anything is on the tailgate, the other 2/3 is supported in the bed and as far as "on a couple of 2x4s" consider how they are oriented and what they rest on. The bulk of all weight is actually still on the truck bed.

I hauled an entire pallet of vinyl flooring in mine. Pretty sure it rode on the bump stops.

even the 16 footer will fit - open the rear window, drop the windshield and your in business! Try that in a Taco!
This is true, although you can also do a 16 footer with the windshield up and the board laying across the rear headrest and tailgate :)

I don't understand why people complain about the JT's short bed - there's always this option for hauling longer stuff -
