April 8, 2024 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - In the shadow of today’s solar eclipse, the Jeep brand too, is going black, introducing the new NightHawk package for the new 2024 Jeep® Gladiator, the world’s most off-road capable midsize truck and the only pickup to offer true open-air freedom.

“Today, many of us will witness a celestial marvel, and here, back on Earth, the Jeep brand is marking the occasion with the introduction of the 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America. “Built from the entry-level Sport model, the new NightHawk package adds both cosmetic and capability enhancements to the 2024 Jeep Gladiator Sport, including new, signature black exterior highlights, rugged all-terrain tires and Dana 44 front and rear axles.”

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk package is priced U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $5,295 and can be ordered with all current exterior colors: Anvil (new-for-2024), Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, Bright White and Black. The NightHawk package includes:

This is a VERY solid package. too bad it has 20 inch wheels, but you can use all your savings to buy proper wheels and tires to fit your new wheels. Assuming the pricing in this post is accurate and it does in fact include the auto

Don't forget power windows and locks. It's $5,295 over SPORT pricing but it has Sport S features. That's $2800 right there. So $2500 for auto, $2800 for S, $2600 for color matched hardtop, $900 for color matched fender flares, $800 for LSD.

That's $8700 plus however much you think rock rails are worth. All for $5300. It's a slammin deal. Even better if you're the type of person who likes 20s, but if you're not there's more than enough savings there to go get your own wheels and tires.

Something that stood out to me is that lack of sarge green on this. I know we talked about it being discontinued awhile back but it’s still on the build and price so I had thought maybe they’ll bring it back. Assuming it’s a close to official as it can be now.

I like how it includes a color-matched hard top and fender flares. As long as the color is black. The price is good though, when you consider the cost to add auto trans and hard top to a sport S. Plus you get a few nice features like remote keyless entry that (I think) are extra on a sport S.
