Good luck this week.I have not been keeping up with my build journal lately. Too busy buying and building
I thought I would post a pic of the BedSlide I install a little bit ago. Now holding all my hurricane Milton supplies.

So far, the BedSlide is great. Easy install, and easy access to the stuff I keep in the bed. No more crawling around to get to stuff.Good luck this week.
Do you like the BedSlide?
For this mod what did you replace it with/fill the holes with? I don't mind the Jeep lettering but they are a pain in the ass to clean around.Started the de-badge project.

Well, if your goal is to make it easier to clean around the letters, I can't help you. I made it harder. For this mod what did you replace it with/fill the holes with? I don't mind the Jeep lettering but they are a pain in the ass to clean around.
Wow, yes you did.Well, if your goal is to make it easier to clean around the letters, I can't help you. I made it harder.

I have done so many mods since then, I really should get back and update this thread.
Well said. Whoever started the story that the Mojave has a tank frame compared to the rest of the Gladiator trims should be talked to sternly for creating the division. Maybe forced to run a car wash for mall crawlers. The diesel actually has many of the same frame reinforcements as well (not they did much as it's very very minimal). It was basically some extra welds and the diesel got some of those for the extra weight upfront such as at the track bar/steering box mount.
I think it would be a more convincing argument if it was actual changes like beefier or extra cross members or gussets, but some frame welds on an already very stout frame...meh
Finally! The previous years were easier to get to the back of the 12v outlet… I have not installed that wire harness because I couldn’t find someone showing how to get to it in the 2024s.Added USB power to the top of the dash for the Bullet Point phone holder/charger.
The idea was to use the Quadratec 12V Power adapter to tap power from the 12v outlet on the driver's side dash.

I removed the top dash trim to locate a place I could fit the USB socket.
![]()
Since there was no space for that to fit, I had to make space with a Dremel.
![]()
Next it was time to remove parts of the dash. I started with the control cluster. The far right side (passenger side) of that dash piece requires fairly extensive dash disassembly, so I left it attached there, and just pulled it off starting on the left side.
***Important: On the 2024 there are 3 screws hidden behind an access panel on the underside of the passenger grab bar. These have to be removed. *Pro Tip: Opening the glove box gives you more room to get a screwdriver in there.

There is a plug on the back of that panel that is easy to remove so you can pull the panel out far enough to work behind it.

There is a screw at the top of the lower dash panel (the lower dash panel is where the 12v outlet is). Once that screw is removed, unplug the harness from the back of the 12v outlet and install the adapter harness.
![]()
Next I ran the adapter harness fused power leads up inside the dash to where I Dremeled a space for the USB socket. Then mounted the USB socket into the top dash trim.

Wired the socket to the adapter harness power leads, and reinstalled the top trim and ball mount.
![]()
After testing to make sure it all worked, I screwed and snapped the dash back together and mounted my phone holder / charger to the ball mount.

It was just a little bit of work to get a very clean looking install. I hate wires draped all over the dash, or anywhere for that matter. I'm very happy with the final product.
Hope it helps. Let me know how it goes. Finally! The previous years were easier to get to the back of the 12v outlet… I have not installed that wire harness because I couldn’t find someone showing how to get to it in the 2024s.
Have you installed the speakers you have ordered yet? If not, I would suggest you install the speakers on order and then see if you need more bass. I was ok with the sound quality without upgrading the sub.I ordered pretty much the same speaker setup for mine. Now I'm just trying to figure out if I want to do something to upgrade that poor single sub in the back.
I did use poly fill. Definitely recommended. Not yet, but I hope to in the next week or so. Did you poly fill the sound bar when you upgraded it?
