I like it a lot but I'm surprised that the rear seat passengers will still be sweating their nuts off in the summer due to lack of rear passenger AC vents. Its 2023 and $50k+ vehicles lack basic AC features??
I'm thinking that there must be ducts under the front seats. But, even if there are, I would still think it's nice to have the ability to direct a cool breeze at your upper body. With that said, many times my kids have the rear vents blocked or closed on hot summer road trips in my JT, and they've never complained.

My plan right now is to get a 2025 Ranger Raptor during Summer 2024. I'll be curious to see if they make any changes.

Our summer heat index is pretty high in GA so it's more of a concern down here. The rear does have underseat ducting. When the heat index is 100+ on an avg summer day, it takes some effort to cool the cab down and without much evaporative cooling effect from direct AC, it just stays hot in the back. I had a 5G Ranger, same issue. Kids should be alright though!

I'll be interested to see how available they are. A lot of Ranger folks with Bronco orders jumped ship, and even ended up with Jeeps, after waiting 2+ years on their orders with no end in sight. I'd think and hope Ford is geared up and ready. With both the bronco and ranger being built on the "T6.2" platform, I imagine that helps production.

I wish I could have em all. The no holds barred trims like the Raptor and ZR2 are so badass. I'm glad even a Sport JT (what I have) can hold their own appearance wise with some basic mods though.

Several YouTuber’s saying the new Ranger has the most comfy seats of all midsize trucks. Jeep could take some notes there-

New 2024 wrangler seats are softer more comfy, sat in one at jeep beach and noticed immediately that the bottom cushion was much better. Not sure if that's only for the electric seats though or if it's all of them since both 2024s they had were electric seats.

Well those are definitely a step up from the current Ranger. My son had the 2.7 in his F-150 and it was pretty quick so I can only imaging how it performs in the Ranger…

…and the Raptor! That will be quick!
Jeep will announce a 392 Gladiator by the end of the Summer to get on top of the heap again (just my speculation).
If Jeep does that I will be furious haha. I just ordered a 2024 Wrangler 392 and was so on the fence about giving up a truck bed. Perfection to me would be a 392 Gladiator.

I'm worried if there will even be a 2nd gen Gladiator. If it's not in the plans then I'm not sure if Jeep will make any mid cycle changes to the Gladiator that aren't direct Wrangler copies.

People speculating that Jeep will put the hurricane in the Gladiator - absolutely no way. If they're not putting it in the Wrangler why would they go through all the development, mid cycle, for the Gladiator?

Best chance of new engines for the mid cycle JT are ones that exist for the JL; like the 4xe powertrain. And maybe the 392 but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Agreed, and what the actual sell price is. Hopefully things will have settled-down by next summer, but who knows. But, if the opportunity presents itself this summer, so be it. I'm not holding my breath. Plus, I kinda like my JTM.

Unfortunately doubt that we’ll ever see a 392 in the gladiator, with the way they are phasing the hemis out, from the factory anyway. It is a one day “plan” to get it converted over with the kits that many shops do like AMW but the price is $$$. I hope to do it at some point. Saw a 392 rubicon recently in the earl gray that I love, but the gladiator is just much more versatile, I came from a 21 wrangler originally.

that said, I think the Jeep holds its own, nothing else has the change-ability that we do. outside of that I think (and I hate Chevy) the new Colorado is the best for now (quality and engine) outside of the gladiator. The outgoing ranger was a cheaply made piece of crap, and Toyota has lost some QC inside especially, where I think if we are expecting a small boy tundra, that’ll have the same fit and finish, that Toyota is missing. The current Tacoma is dated but it’s robust, and built well. We’ll see how the new ones fair. I was not a fan of the new tundra. Lots of cheap paneling, rattles, it just generally felt “tinny”, and that was the TRD Pro at the time.

RAM was rumored to push out a Dakota, had hopes that would be decent.

That didn’t work out so well for the Comanche last time…

I think Jeeps response with the gladiator would be the 4xe. It would be the closest in hp and torque. It still has a higher tow rating than ranger raptor on gas, removable top and doors and other factors that still make it more unique. Im curious though if Jeep will make the xtreme recon package available since Chevy has been driving around a colorado on 35’s and Jeep likes to advertise they have the tallest tire in their segment. I do love the styling in pretty much every midsize coming out over the Gladiator. Been a Jeep fan for 30 years but i think a gladiator not on 35’s or higher just looks plain goofy.

Had two rangers. My 1999 was $12K and 2007 was $14K. Both had 7ft beds. Could drive 500+ miles non-stop on a full tank. Actually took them whooping out in the vegas desert. Loved those trucks.

Now they are luxury trucks. Haha.
Glad they brought them back.

If they do, I'm trading my 2020 JT Sport S with 6-speed on it (as long as I can get Hydro Blue)!
