2025 Gladiator Gorilla Glass Defect?

Although I would not have ordered the gorilla option, it was on there, and was also the last 2025 on the lot which provided to me a killer deal with all the rebates etc. The dealer shoved it out the door the same, late afternoon, that I purchased it.
A couple of weeks later, I did a better cleaning and also ceramic coating. I noticed what appears to be glue or some other substance where the antenna is installed on the inside of the windshield. Is this a common thing to see? It looks sloppy to me.

Yep. Sloppy adhesive work. Clean it up with a razor and some alcohol pads or take it back for them to do, if they will. It’s a quick easy project if it bothers you.

There is a one time replacement warranty on the Gorilla glass. Call the 800 number and open a case if the dealer doesn't deal with it.

I am glad to hear about the replacement glass option. I guess I just didn't read the warranties in detail as I should have when I purchased my JTR.

I would clean it myself. Especially if its a one time thing with the warranty

Unless it is "part of the glass" which I doubt, can't you just take a scraper and get rid of it. Personally, I would trust myself much more than some kid at the dealer who just started to shave whose first job is to remove all of the stuff.

If you can't get it off to your satisfaction, a drive by your dealer and a talk with the service manager may facilitate the problem.

I'll see what I can do. If the warranty covers defects it'd probably be prudent not to use it yet. I have full glass breakage coverage also.

Gorilla glass is an unneeded expense and not worth the money

I thought the Gorilla Glass windshields was the solution to the problematic windshields to begin with - now THEY are a problem, too?

Did Jeep ever clarify if factory installed Gorilla Glass got the extra protection warranty the same as if it was installed after the fact as a MOPAR accessory?
