Picking up a 2025 Mojave X tomorrow. I want to put 35's and 17's on it. I don't want to level, lift, or do any trimming. What is the offset range I should be shopping in to achieve this? I'm fine with a slight poke (nh), would prefer that the tread is flush with the fender flares and just the round of the tire extending past but again, am fine with a little more than that. I'm assuming the closer I get to 0 offset, the more the wheel & tire will push out from the flare. Any guidance and/or photos here?

Tire wise, I want the biggest, true 35 A/T tire that is great in all seasons. I live in UT and do a lot of winter driving but I want something quiet and comfortable on the highway as well.

I realize there might be resources in the forums but I've been digging through the posts and it's tough to find what I'm looking for.

I wanted what you want. After researching, it was basically down to AEV Salta (or any of the AEV wheels) or Method 703 as they come in a 17x8.5 25mm offset and minimize poke. Paired that with 315/70r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs (34.5" dia). No rubbing, tread about aligned with the fenders, and happy with the outcome. Any of the 17x8.5 0 offset options will poke about an inch more.

35x12.50x17 Baja Boss AT on Method 0 offset. No lift, no rubbing, but definitely some poke. I added the XR flare extensions to gain back the coverage, and I like that look. It's now lifted and quite a bit different, and will get bigger tires someday.

The tire choice is going to vary a lot but the main solid choices seem to come down to:

Baja Boss
BFG KO3
Nitto Ridge Grappler (I think)
Falken Wildpeak AT3 (the new AT4 has mixed reviews)
Toyo Open Country

I will say do not get Patagonia A/Ts. They lack traction in the snow, are uneven weights, and wear horribly.

There are a few budget choices out there and some good options, but they give up one aspect (snow traction or road noise or mud traction, etc.).

My wheels are 17x9 -6mm offset, 4.75" backspacing; but I'm on 37x12.5. I have about 1.5" of poke, about 1 tread block. If the tire sidewall wasn't so round it'd be just right. If you stay to a 10.5" tire you should be fine with a stock wheel (don't quote me on that; I might be a bit fuzzy remembering all the numbers - it's almost 1am on a Friday night).

I have a ‘25 MojaveX with no lift, Mickey Thompson 37x17x12.5 Baja Boss AT, paired with Methods Race Wheels Bead Grip 703 17x9 | 5x5 | -12/4.57” with no rubbing whatsoever. I purchased a Teraflex 2.5” complete spacer kit, W/shock extension, adjustable upper/lower control arms, adjustable front track bar, etc. Planning on installing the kit soon.

I’m not running 35’s….. but I am running the original 33’s on Method wheels 17 x 8.5” with +25 offset. 2024 Mojave X
Totally flush with the fenders and keeps me ‘legal’ in Pennsylvania.

KMC Lobos come in a 17x8.5 in +18 that are close to flush.

I still like good ol fashioned C rated BFG KO2s for a decent true all arounder. Not great at anything but not terrible at anything (till you get to the end of tread life). Lots of good choices out there. Just watch the weights cause some of the 35s get pretty heavy, especially the E rated versions (which I won't run on a Jeep).

I ran KO2s on my TJ for a couple of years. It seemed like there was always one in a set that was hard to balance. I did not think that they lasted long enough either.

The Toyo ATIII were a similar alternative. The bonuses were that the Toyos came in 11.5" wide (stayed in the fenders) and they weighed virtually the same thing as my stock 285/70r17 tires.

The movie is a demonstration of the truck and tires on a super slick road. The yellow/green Jeep had tires with a street pattern and slid off into the ditch on the side. The hill wasn't that steep, but it was super slick.

You should be able to put 35s on it with the original wheels or different wheels with no adjustments no and no leveling kit, the mojave and Rubicon both have the high lift fenders openings to accommodate a 35" tire. I installed 35x12.5x17 on mine within the first month with no modifications
