Got mine done using the stock brackets. The pin is a 5/16” pin so I used a letter O (which is a little bit bigger than a 5/16” drill bit) bit to drill out the bracket holes and arm bushing. Hardest part was cutting the old pin to get the bracket off. No clicking at all.

What’s the black handle/knob on top? I want those for mine. I hated the key ring.

It’s the style pin I found on Amazon. I can get a link for you here shortly. They have many sizes. I got the 1.6” ones but the 1” ones should work as well. It’s a push button to release the balls at the bottom

I’m thinking the T handle style will have enough clearance as well.

VERY similar, but more fancy and nice, than the ones I was referring to which I have used a lot when I didn't want to mess with the hair clips and so on.

Oh I like those, good find! I'm gonna order a set for my doors.
It also Got my wheels turning for my Garden tractor, I have similar pins on the snow blower attachment. They don't have the lanyard..(going to make some now) never had a source for the pins they didn't come with the tractor .. I think i just acquired them and they fit. looks like the Jungle site had other sizes now i want to replace all the pin and hair pins with this style!

What did you use to cut out the old pin? Think I'm going this way since the '26 parts aren't available yet.

I used a portable m12 bandsaw and a 2” m18 die grinder. The die grinder obviously would have done it all, but I wanted to limit the sparks in the open door. Bandsaw is cleaner, but I could only get almost through before it interfered with something and bottomed out. I left my doors on, as I decided it was easier than finding a safe place to put them without damage.

Also, I’m very happy about this cheap mod. I’ve used it since installing and it’s fantastic. I pulled all the split rings. They’re not necessary and just get in the way.
