Hey everyone. I picked up my 23 Mojave 1.5 weeks ago. It now has 800 miles and the radio has decided to not output any sound. If I turn the dial it says the volume is changing, but no sound. I’ve tried cycling through all sources multiple times for an extended time frame, but nothing.

This is my 4th Jeep, 2nd Gladiator, and after all of the issues I had with my late I said I’d never buy a new Jeep again. Well here I

Try a system reboot, disconnect both batteries for about ten minutes. If you have the 8.4 Uconnect, it can take up to 24 hours to return to normal operation after a reboot.

I know this sounds weird, but try selecting AM radio for a source. Then put it back to whatever input you were on. My wife's JL did this and that fixed it.

You can also try pulling fuse 97, wait 10 seconds and reseat it. That will reset the UConnect. Gonna ask too, is it on mute by chance? ;)

Hi JKLivin833,

Great tips were already shared that typically helps restore the sound! However, if you need additional support or decide to visit your dealer for further diagnosis, you're welcome to PM us anytime.

My apologies for the delay. I did the AM thing, and reboot. They didn’t work. Miraculously the next time I went to my truck and turned it on it worked. I have no idea.

Thanks everyone.

Mine did something similar today:
Phone connected via USB, but no audio. The volume bar wouldn’t even show up with USB selected. It worked with the tuner, but not USB. And it was just the audio: the phone showed it was playing on the UConnect screen.
I went into the store, and when I returned a few minutes later, all was normal!
It’s done this a few times before.

Gotta love UConnect.
