There was a post a few months ago where a guy did that and it messed something up. I forget the specifics.Well with a little effort, the hood vent could be made functional'ish
You’re good. Take a look at the AEV bumper with the lights, they note there’s no issues there.I am currently running 2ea lights (6.5") on my front bar. If I install a third light on the bar, will that restrict airflow too dramatically?
Thoughts? Opinions?

Out of curiosity, are those factory fog lights in the bumper?I am currently running 2ea lights (6.5") on my front bar. If I install a third light on the bar, will that restrict airflow too dramatically?
Thoughts? Opinions?
My thought process was to replace the fog lights with something like DD or the similar before adding extra lights, only reason I ask.It is a MP Concepts aluminum front bumper with factory OEM fog lights.
From their website:The lights appear larger than the ones that I am using AND the bar is certainly larger - blocking air passage.
Thanks for the information !!!From their website:
“From your pictures, it looks like the center hoop, lights and winch block off too much airflow to the grille, is this something I have to worry about?”
“No. We spent years (literally) developing and testing this bumper in a variety of ways and conditions to make sure this bumper would perform well and without compromise BEFORE it made it on the front of any customer owned vehicles. The RX Front Bumper has seen everything from the daily commute to high altitude rock crawling to a multi-day overland trip across the desert. “
I don’t trust many aftermarket companies, but AEV is one of the trustworthy ones.
I agree. They are one of the few aftermarket companies that slow roll their offerings and it will fit what they say it will fit without question.I don’t trust many aftermarket companies, but AEV is one of the trustworthy ones.
